McDonald's — Restaurant in Verwaltungsverband Donaueschingen

Visited this McDonalds three times (all via the drive thru as the seating is closed because of covid). The first visit was ok. Food was hot and fresh but the fries were limp and bland. The 2nd visit resulted in a “less than desirable” meal where most of the food was almost room temperature. The last visit we found (again) the burgers had been sitting out too long and were hard and cold and the fries tasted like they had been cooked the day before. This was complicated by an incorrect order (discovered after we got home, some 6 minutes away). Wir waren heute seit Ewigkeiten (5 Jahre sicherlich) mal wieder bei McDonalds in DS. Bestellt per McDrive einen Milchshake und einen McFlurry Smarties.

Milchshake ging nicht, also zwei McFlurrys - ohne Sauce, nur Smarties.

Bekommen haben wir zwei flüssige schaumige Irgendwas. Ich habe meinen probiert und er hat sauer (wie Zitrone oder Joghurt) geschmeckt. Direkt ausgespuckt und reklamiert.

Im Laden stand noch ein Mann, der ebenfalls sein Eis reklamiert hat - wegen des gleichen Geschmacks.

Gibt einem ein gutes Gefühl bei 30 Grad ein Softeis zu bekommen, das schaumig ist und komisch schmeckt.

Wir wurden alle super unfreundlich behandelt, die Dame (konnte nicht mal einen deutschen Satz) meinte, sie habe das Eis probiert, es schmecke normal. Dann fragte der Herr nach, ob sie nun ernsthaft mit seinem Löffel das gammlige Eis probiert habe, dann meinte sie nein.

Die nächste Ausrede war dann: Der Mitarbeiter sei neu, er habe Sauce reingetan.

Weder bei mir, noch bei dem anderen Herrn war Sauce (es gibt nicht mal Sauce mit Zitronengeschmack) drin.

Das Ende vom Lied: In diesen Ekel-Laden setze ich nie wieder einen Fuß. Ich würde mich als Geschäftsführer schämen.

Bonus-Story: Bei der Bestellung im Auto sah ich eine Dame mit einem Hund. Wollte irgendwas bestellen, durfte mit dem Hund nicht rein. Ratet mal, wer dann - als ich doch drinnen war und reklamierte - hinten an der Burgerstation stand? Kann da eigentlich Hinz und Kunz bei der Essenszubereitung rumstehen? Hygiene schon...

The food is typical McDonald's and the staff strictly enforces corona rules (a good thing), but there is zero flexibility in making changes to the sandwiches. You can take anything off but cannot add anything. For example if you do not want the special sauce and would prefer ketchup... impossible. Or as I was told, you can buy the ketchup and do it yourself. Also I was told, if you want to make requests like that you can go to a different McDonald's. Guess I'll be skipping this...
