Be advised, that parking and resting here overnight costs 1,50€ per hour, during the day 0,50€ per hour, but never more than 12 bucks, but it's well worth it, for parking customers get a 20% discount on the dishes and believe you me; they're good! There are even a few vegetarian options, which are surprisingly good, among which I definitely recommend Käsespätzle, but the Fish's perfectly fine, as well. Presentation and inside ambience will blow your mind, if you're nostalgic, like me, but, if you wanna take a group, you should be advised of the space here and make reservations properly and in due time, cause it's not that big a place. Staff members are really friendly and helpful. Makes me wish, I coulda stayed longer. I went to feed here earlier. I ordered 2 simple, black coffees, as the lady at the gas station said. Initially, I wanted to make them myself at the coffee machine, but the lady told me to go to her because she makes them. I paid 6 euros for two coffees, nothing disturbing. A gentleman comes after me and he also orders the same coffee and was charged €1.8. The same coffee because later I asked the lady and she told me it was the same. I asked why a coffee was €1.8 for him and €3 for me. The answer is that the gentleman is a customer. I mention that he was not a driver. Da ich nun mehr Zeit hatte kommt jetzt eine ausführliche Bewertung, jedoch werde ich für das Restaurant und die Tankstelle zwei geteilte Rezensionen abgeben.

Schon seit dem ich jünger war und nun seit mehr als 10 Jahren glücklich verheiratet bin, ist und bleibt der Rasthof kurz vor dem Europa Park einfach ein MUSS als Anreiseziel für mich und meine Frau.

10/5 Sterne für das Restaurant: Das Essen im Restaurant ist einfach unglaublich gut. Es wird frisch zubereitet und die Wartezeit sowie die Kosten sind wirklich mehr als fair. Die Mitarbeiter die dort arbeiten sind sehr freundlich und stehts zur stelle und das Ambiente wunderbar wohlig sodass man gerne auch etwas länger verweilen möchte.

1/5 für die Tankstelle: Auch hier sind die Speisen und Getränke (Kakao, Kaffe, etc.) sehr empfehlenswert, jedoch wird die Bewertung durch das unfreundliche und ungehobelte verhalten vieler Mitarbeiter runtergezogen. Natürlich verstehe ich selbst das es Tage gibt an denen es sehr stressig sein kann und man nicht immer nur gut drauf ist und mit einem lächeln rumläuft. Es kann jedoch nicht sein, das wenn man sich höflich verhält, die Mitarbeiter unverschähmt reagieren oder sogar sich vor einem über einen lächerlich machen. Bei unserem letzten Besuch mussten wir mit anhören wie sich die Mitarbeiter über das Aussehen und Verhalten von mir und meiner Frau lustig gemacht haben obwohl wir in unmittelbarer nähe waren. Das ist schlicht und ergreifend einfach inakzeptabel. Jeder hat seine Meinung, was zu akzeptieren gilt, jedoch muss als Mitarbeiter der seine Arbeitsstelle repräsentiert auch ein Mindestmaß an Respekt und Freundlichkeit gegenüber dem zahlenden Kunden vorhanden sein.

Meine Frau und ich werden zwar weiterhin dort hinfahren, allein der Nostalgie wegen, jedoch vermutlich nurnoch um das Restaurant...
