Burger King — Restaurant in Verwaltungsverband Kenzingen-Herbolzheim

Our visit to Burger King was thoroughly disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were unable to place our order using the self-service kiosk and were redirected by staff to the closed registers. All orders had to be placed via the kiosk, yet no instructions were provided on how to do so. Even two young men — clearly regular customers — encountered the same issues and were spoken to in an unpleasant manner by the staff. The fact that two “older” guests were struggling seemed somewhat understandable to them, but still, the way we were treated left us feeling poorly. In the end, it was local bystanders who kindly helped us complete the order.

This experience left us feeling very uncomfortable.

The burger itself was also disappointing — it lacked flavor and had too little sauce. This was definitely not an experience we would want to repeat. We sincerely hope this was an exception and not reflective of the chain as a whole.

Additionally, the preparation of the burger took 25 minutes — quite unacceptable for a fast...

En Allemand : Also ein Tipp: Gehen Sie essen und woanders bestellen!!!!!! Bei unserer ersten Reise nach Deutschland gehen wir zur Einfahrt, um ein paar Sachen zu essen zu bestellen. Die Person mit dem Helm zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellannahme drängt uns bereits dazu. Als wir dann zum Bezahlen an der Kasse ankommen, schreit sie uns auf Deutsch an, als wir ihr sagen, dass wir kein Deutsch verstehen, aber Englisch oder Französisch sprechen. Und grenzwertig greift sie uns an und wir dachten, wir hätten aus ihrer Art zu sprechen verstanden „man muss einfach lernen, Deutsch zu sprechen“ und der ganze Rest, was sie zu uns sagte, war Kauderwelsch, wir sprachen weiterhin Englisch, aber immer auf die Aggressivität der Dame ! aber warum lernt sie nicht Englisch, das eine universelle Sprache ist??? Ich kann Ihnen diese Angestellte beschreiben, sie ist eine ziemlich bullige Brünette (beschichtete Körper), sehr frech, auch sehr aggressiv und sehr respektlos, ich finde sie inkompetent, wenn es darum geht, den Job zu wechseln! Als jeder sie sah, wollte jeder hinausgehen, um sie in ihre Schranken zu weisen. Sie behandelte uns wie ihre Hunde!! Sie lächelte nicht oder begrüßte sie nicht, sondern war von Anfang bis Ende nur aggressiv. Sie beschränkte mich auf unsere Anweisung und warf sie mir ins Gesicht, um das Gleiche zu ändern. Kurz gesagt, wir haben sie anscheinend geärgert, als wir alles versuchten, um miteinander auszukommen. Machen Sie es klar … wir hatten kein Internet, also keine Übersetzung … Sie riskieren nicht, damit Touristen für sich zu gewinnen, für uns ist es das letzte Mal, dass wir dort einen Fuß setzen!!!!!!!

En français : Alors un conseil, ALLÉ MANGER ET PASSER COMMANDE AILLEURS !!!!!!! premier voyage en Allemagne, nous passons au drive commander quelques petites choses à manger. La personne au casque au moment de prise de la commande déjà nous presse. Ensuite on arrive à la caisse pour payer, elle nous crie dessus en Allemand alors qu’on lui dit qu’on ne comprend pas l’Allemand mais qu’on parle anglais ou français. Et limite elle nous agresse et on a cru comprendre à ca façon de parler «  vous n’avez qu’à apprendre à parler allemand » et tout le reste de ce qu’elle nous a dit était du charabia, nous avons continué à parler anglais mais toujours sur l’agressivité la dame ! mais elle pourquoi n’apprend t’elle pas l’anglais qui est une langue universelle ??? Je peux vous décrire cette employée, c’est une brune plutôt costaud (corps enrobés) très insolente très agressive aussi et très irrespectueuse je la trouve incompétente qu’elle change de métier ! Dans la voir tout le monde voulait sortir pour la remettre à sa place elle nous a traité comme ses chiens !! Elle pas souriante ni accueillante que de l’agressivité du début a la fin.. notre commande elle me l’a limite balancer au visage, pour rendre la monnaie pareil, bref on l’énervai apparemment alors qu’on a tout essayé pour se faire comprendre… on avait pas internet donc pas de traduction… vous risquez pas de gagner des touristes avec celle-ci, pour nous c’est la dernière fois qu’on met les pieds...

Hospitality what's that? First order screen did not work. Second screen didn't print although I did choose that option. We had to wait way over 30 minutes for food after ordering in this FAST food restaurant, What a chaos. Stressed out unfriendly staff. 2 Products missing on the tray but I noticed before leaving the counter and informed the service employee. She took the products but I already noticed it wouldn't fit on the tray. As I took a second tray from the side I was yelled at by the employee I couldn't do that. Most unfriendly staff I have seen in a long time. French fries not very tasteful. Burger ok. Post mix cola was disgusting and far from how a coke should taste like; big problem with post mix machine. Very dirty toilets. Worst (fast food) restaurant ever. We should have gone to their (crowded) neighbours with the golden arches.. BB should close down this place and put things in...
