Angus Steakhaus — Restaurant in Vilseck

I recently visited Angus Steakhouse in Vilseck and had an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, the service stood out — the staff was attentive, friendly, and offered excellent recommendations throughout the meal. They’ve just introduced new POS systems, and while they’re still getting used to them, I found it super convenient to have my order placed right at the table.

The food came out surprisingly fast and everything was clearly fresh from the kitchen. The salad had crisp, fresh vegetables, setting the tone for the meal. For my appetizer, I tried the grilled shrimp, which was savory, flavorful, and perfectly paired with a creamy dipping sauce.

My main dish was the ribeye steak, cooked medium rare, and it was spot on — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The peppercorn gravy alongside the steak and crispy potato wedges was an unbeatable combination. To drink, I had the mint lemonade, which turned out to be like a refreshing slushie — a fun and welcome surprise!

To finish, I ordered the caramel apple tart for dessert, and it was absolutely out of this world. Hands down one of the best dessert recommendations I’ve ever had from a server.

Overall, everything from the attentive service to the delicious food made this visit unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming...

How this place received so many great reviews is beyond me. This was probably the worst dining experience we have had so far!! We waited over 40 mins to receive our drinks, 1 1/2 hours for our steaks and let me tell you, the wait was not worth it whatsoever. Whoever thinks this is a great steak restaurant must have never eaten a good steak, because this food is trash. The salad was nasty. I had a hair in my beer AND my salad. Our medium-rare ordered steaks were cooked well done and soaked in an unexplainable overly salty seasoning. The quality of the meat was cheap, which is probably why it needed that much seasoning to begin with, and my filet was hard to chew and swallow. This was my husbands birthday dinner and i now wish we would have just stayed home and grilled ourselves. That would have saved us $100.00 thrown out the window. How they come up with those prices for that kind of food is another mystery. When we asked for a check, we were told we will get it when they can get to us and we had to wait again. Go figure. Have I mentioned that this place was not even packed?? Overall...

This is by far our favorite restaurant in Germany! We ordered their ribeye steak and it was perfection! The staff is amazing and the mushroom appetizer was so delicious as well as the chicken wings! We go to Angus almost every weekend and try something different on their menu and LOVE everything! If you are looking for delicious steak and amazing service, I highly recommend you give Angus Steakhouse a try! You will not be disappointed! If I could, I would give 10 stars! Thank you Marco and Barbara for giving us the best restaurant to look forward to come to on our days off! We would like to give a special shout out to the chef who cooks every thing we order to perfection, the wait staff who is the most friendly, attentive and kind (especially Maria) and to the bartenders who are amazing at serving the best drinks!
