This place was recommended by troops that have been on Vilseck for 2 years. If you're fresh from the U.S., do not go here. Good beer, 2-star food (at best). The problem isn't the recipes or the options. The meat was not good at all. The chicken wings had a odd taste as if fried in month-used coconut oil, and the burger meat was very obviously low-quality beef. It tasted like it was recycled. The rest of the meal was great. The burger would have been easily 4-stars if the meat was better

On the plus side, the service was fantastic! The staff is friendly, more than helpful, and earned the tips we all left tenfold. 10 stars for the bar staff and wait staff, on a 5-star scale! If Burger Bar improved their meat quality and cooking process, they could easily move into the top tier of restaurants in the area. I only hope they see this review and take heed.

To Burger Bar, you are so close to being great. Your staff is excellent, the environment is welcoming and comfortable, the prices on-par, and the overall experience is positive. Please work on your meat selection and cooing processes. Your location, menu, and name clearly markets to American military and their families, so obtaining that taste will go a long way for you. I would be more than happy to return and update my review upon making those changes, but for now I can comfortably say I will not return to this...

I've tried different foods here and honestly, while the food is pretty typical (it's not bad, just bar/pub standard with a few extras) the service is always superb. Family friendly, a menu with enough options to please a group, and it looks like they have added some weekly karaoke to the lineup. Overall, I would recommend it.
