This restaurant trying to justify their prices makes me want to go into further detail and update my post again. I would love to have the choice of eating here because it really is one of the few places with somewhat tasty pizza that delivers. 17⏠for one of there medium pizzas is OUTRAGEOUS because their medium is really a personal pizza. Only one person can be satisfied by this size. Their XL is enough for 3 people, 2 the way my husband eats it. There have been excuses of gas prices and inflation trying to justify why they charge so much. I feel horrible that businesses as well as people of the world are going through this crazy time, but the fact of the matter is, I could (and do!) drive to a pizza place 30 min away, enjoy a better pizza, and spend the same or less money (including gas). The prices are too high for the portion and quality of food. They have a monopoly on pizza delivery in the area and they are taking advantage of the American population who have to live here by charging these prices.
Havenât ordered from here much lately because the prices have gotten out of control. Just tried to order an xl pizza (they only offer xl and m) and they wanted to charge us âŹ28 or $37⊠not going to pay that for one pizza. I previously tried to oder pasta and a drink and they made me order extra hot food to meet their hot food minimum.
My husband would eat here 3x a week if I wasnât around⊠pizza and pasta are both pretty good for what weâve found so far in Germany. Itâs easy to spend $30 so it doesnât impress me much that delivery is free. Itâs nice that they take dollars and euro. Delivery is usually pretty quick. Only once or twice has it taken longer than they quoted which is usually 45 min- 1 hour on week nights and 1 hour-1 hour 15...
Read moreNow as a Northern New Jersey native who has had some of the best Italian brick oven pizza in the US I have to say that this pizza isnât bad. It isnât something world class for sure. Itâs overpriced, they skimp on toppings and it seems like a cash grab to me especially considering the quality of pizza I am used to for the price. But I also feel as though they are taking advantage of knowing that though they arenât that great, they are the best in this small community and that gives them the right to skimp. Which is odd to me based on American standards of toppings and serving sizes. Iâll put it this way, if youâre going to prey on American pizza lovers than you have to understand that some of us are from world class pizziola areas. We know good pizza and may not be willing to sacrifice quality for location. So when one of youâre panini bread pieces suddenly becomes 3 panini bread pieces, people like me notice. I suggest you reevaluate your practices before you go too far and lose all of...
Read moreThe first time I experienced Black and White Dinerâs pizza was when we had a large group of friends over for my wifeâs birthday. Had around 18-20 people over. A work friend recommended Black and White and we decided to give it a shot. Best decision. We ordered 8 XL pizzas and everyone loved it, every slice was gone in less than an hour. Iâve never heard a large group of people go silent like that before đ
Staff is always super nice, Iâve gotten multiple pizzas here several times, every single one of them were delicious. My favorite is the Western.
Prices are higher than you would expect to pay for a pizza, however the quality of the pizza makes the price well worth it to me. Theyâve always delivered and had my pizzas ready on time as well. Nothing but good things to say about this...
