We love to come here, the food is excellent, I always get a steak with peppercorn sauce or with garlic butter and home fries, absolutely delicious!!!! The service is perfect especially when Manuela waits on us, she is the jewel of this place, so friendly, helpful and always accomodating. 👍👍👍 I just had to add...their burgers are so good, fresh buns, great meat quality, just good ingredients. The pork medaillions with home fries (or substitute for Spätzle) even the pizzas are yummy!! A must try! The atmosphere is casual, cozy, friendly, the kimd that makes you feel comfortable.

Cozy tavern in the village of Vilseck. Lively and busy on a Thursday night. Traditional menu includes the German staples, a few Bavarian specialties, and some tasty seasonal options. Potato soup and jägerschnitzel were delicious. Bier vom fass included a few from Veldensteiner, a somewhat local brewery, and a delicious Dunkles from Simon (another “local”). Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Delicious local food with a neighborhood feel. Hits the spot with stick-to-your-ribs German fare. Prices are legit, brews cheap AF, and service all-around attentive and responsive--very much so by European standards. This is a hearty feel-good eatery and eclipses most of the other nearby restaurants by far. You will enjoy it too. Watch.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff was nice over the phone when I called to make a reservation for two. When we arrived we realized we had forgotten our ID cards to verify our QR codes so we weren’t allowed to dine in. The restaurant was pretty empty, but we ordered a steak that came with the side salad and potatoes, a burger, sweet potato fries, and a side salad. The cheeseburger was pretty good but I think the bacon was a little under cooked and the beef patty overcooked. The sweet potato fries were very salty and the side salad consisted of a salad bar option (pickled carrots, green beans, corn, some dried up lettuce, pickled cucumber salad, and some other non fresh salad ideas that I thought I would get). My friend’s onions that came on top of the steak were burnt and tasted burnt and the sauce went everywhere in the bag. They also told us 20 minutes but we went back in at 17 min and it was obvious that the food was ready for a while because it was cold. As we paid I checked to see if we had been given utensils and they said they didn’t have any. I asked how are we supposed to eat our food, the lady asked another lady and they gave us utensils finally. We didn’t have a...

Are you craving for some scrumptious German food? Then look no further than this fine establishment to satisfy your appetite. Starting with their fresh salad bar and followed by all their delicious menu entries there is something for even the pickiest of eaters here. I love their Schnitzel 😋 they also dish out some delicious ribs.

If German food is not your favorite then try one of their handmade to order burgers. However, some of my favorites are their Jäegerschnitzel or Cordon Blue with fries, Turkey medallions with potato croquettes, and their Kräuterpfandl with cheese späetzle and crispy bacon. All these dishes are full of flavor and served in generous portions.

Customer service is excellent, and I am always greeted with a smile which makes me feel like family. This place is also an excellent location for any special occasions such as birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, or just to get together with friends and family for a nice time and of course some beer. I would however be sure to make reservations ahead of time since due to their popularity locally their dining room is always buzzing with activity.

Also alles gut.
