Piroch's im Christlwirt — Restaurant in Waakirchen

We spend part of our Germany vacation in Waakirchen and choose Family Piroch's. My sister and her family are living in the same town but because of space issues we had to find a different accommodation. We love the location, we could drive or walk to my sister's house, are close to the Autobahn and many good restaurants. The rooms need some updating but it didn't bother us at all. We loved the Gasthof downstairs, great food and service. My daughter fell in love with the owners dog "Aqua" and hasn't stopped talking about her since we left. The owners were so friendly and gifting her a stuffed dog looking exactly like their dog. It's her favorite stuffy now! If you want to experience Bavarian food and live style, I highly recommend...

Would like to highly recommend this restaurant, The owner and his wife prepared an unbelievable meal for our more than 30 guests who came from canada, germany, france, italy and where very gracious in accomodating the different diets while maintaining true bavarian cuisine. the ambience of this restaurant also lends itself well to making it an unforgettable experience. If you are in the Tegernsee Valley - Waakirchen - Bad Tolz area you owe it to yourself to visit!! The lunch menu is also excellent. What is even more spectacular is that all arrangements were done over the phone from Kanada. Truly professional people who are passionate about their craft!
