Anker Café — Restaurant in Wittenberge

Probably the best on-the-shore cafe in Wittenberge. But this does not make it one in general. It is very popular with locals to grab the drink. Noisy and dirty - you will always see empty bottles and plastic glasses around. Overpriced. Like 3.5 euro for small bad cappuccino. Staff can be freindly or not as they get customers anyway. If you are jn the busy hour you will get fast service and have a good time enjoying drink and a snack. But during rush hour you will wait a lot, have mistakes in you order, rejects, missing menu items and so on. So depending on the visit you can get 5 star experience or fall...

Don't drink, don't eat in here. Avoid at any cost. Charging phone etc costs 5euros for 30minutes even if you are spending 100eur for food and drinks. Other than that decent. Eher ein Zufallsbesuch, aber einer der sich gelohnt hat. Der Inhaber ist mega Sympathisch, die Lage, direkt an der Elbe, ein Traum. Auf unsere Frage was es zu essen gäbe, hieß es, leider nur Snacks. War nicht unser eigentlicher Plan, aber wir haben uns schon von den Beschreibungen überzeugen lassen. Alles sollte im Glas kommen?! Okay... Es kam tatsächlich im Glas. Salat, wie auch das Lachs-Sandwich. Optisch schon mal perfekt und eben mal was total anderes. Und nachdem wir probiert hatten, waren wir komplett überzeugt. Wer kann schon sagen sein Sandwich aus dem Glas gegessen zu haben. Die Salate, wie auch das Sandwich sind hausgemacht. Wir hatten die Wahl zwischen Caprese und Griechisch. Beides war sehr, sehr lecker und auch von der Menge her absolut ausreichend. Preis/Leistung stimmt und wir kommen sicher wieder. Auch wenn Berlin nicht wirklich um...
