Hotel Waldhaus — Restaurant in Wolfenbüttel

I stayed one night in hotel Waldhaus while visiting the town. It was a little bit off the city centre, but with a rental car there is no problem. The hotel was smallish, but had a restaurant in it. There was a wedding event on the night when I arrived, so apparently they organize stuff like this also. ||||The room was OK, basic stuff. No luxuries, but not that I needed them either. The price was a bit over 50 euros a night, including breakfast. Pricewise I am happy with the place and the brekkie was OK too. I did not see anybody else at the breakfast, so I guess this place is relatively quiet, but then again I guess the whole town is. ||||I might come again, but if you have no car, then a hotel closer to town centre is a better option. This will, however, increade the cost by 30-40...

Helpful and friendly staff. Pay one euro for WLAN, it worked for FaceTime which seems rare in hotels. Room size ok. Shower ok but shower head had water leaking out the side. Smell of breakfast eggs every morning at five was not ideal when sleeping. Dog friendly place. 2 dogs 2 people left when I leaving one morning. Parking limited but space across the street works fine. Room could use some newness, towels thin etc., but for the price probably...
