I found Jamestown Boutique by accident in 2017 when I was looking for the Chale Wote festival. The unassuming entrance didn't prepare me for the beautiful art inside. From then on 2017 to now in 2020, it is still one of my favorite place for art IN THE WORLD. I always find something that moves me. And the owner, Nii, is a helpful and amazing host who not only curates the art here but also can hook you up with some great drinks and food food.
On this last visit, I picked up two pieces by an amazing artist, H. Nortey. Each of the paintings represent the strength of women in different ways. I can't wait to frame then when I get home.
