More Vegan Cuisine Please: Nkwa Dua's Tasting! Nkwa Dua Vegan Restaurant in Accra, Ghana, is a gem that effortlessly combines the vibrant flavors of West Africa with ethical and wholesome vegan cuisine. From the moment I sat at the dining table, it was a warm and inviting atmosphere! Chef Ama personally curated every dish!   Along with Chef Nataki, they have skillfully curated a selection of vegan cuisine that can be – bold, exciting, and undeniably delicious! Picture this: an array of vibrant dishes showcasing the incredible diversity of plant-based ingredients. The tasting of fresh coconut water, followed by the incredible As Above Sobolo, bursts with beautiful flavors of locally sourced hibiscus. The exquisite bite-size appetizers will bring you a feeling of happiness! Every dish that followed, Jollof rice, Waakye, and Egusi, was a symphony of delightful flavors nourishing my soul. Our meal culminated with a divine bowl of Vegan Mango ice cream with a walnut drizzle and tiger nut. Can you say, "More, please!"  It was as if each spoonful was a magical sweetness! The atmosphere is lively, the staff is knowledgeable and passionate, and the commitment to using locally sourced, fresh ingredients is commendable. Nkwa Dua isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of conscious dining without compromising a flavorful experience! This vegan tasting wasn't just a meal; it was a sensory journey that left me in awe of the possibilities within plant-based cuisine. It's an invitation to savor the flavors of West Africa in a way that respects the planet and your taste buds. So, gather your friends and family, bring your appetite, and order from Nkwa Dua for a vegan experience that leaves you nourished and happy! A visit to Nkwa Dua is more than a meal; it's a celebration of the new and exciting world of vegan cuisine. Medase for a delicious  meal! 🌱🍽️ #NkwaDuaTasting #VeganAdventure #CulinaryExcellence #asabovesobolo Nana Ama

3/13/2023 I was fortune to be able to sample cuisine created by Chef Ama. Let me tell you, THE FOOD WAS DIVINE! 💚 It fed by belly, but also my spirit. As a years long vegan, I found Ama's treats to be flavorful, and visually appealing. I had the pizzas, the jolof rice, and Sobolo drink. Everything was delicious!! If you are in Ghana - Accra area on holiday, please do not hesitate, you will have missed something special.

Best vegan food in Ghana, hands down! I’m still blown away that this magic comes from a 17-year-old chef — Chef Ama is a star in the making. I grabbed my food as takeaway, and even after the ride home, every bite was bursting with authentic Ghanaian flavour — rich, spicy, and full of love.

Nkwa Dua isn’t copying Western vegan food — it’s proudly Ghanaian, deeply creative, and absolutely delicious.

To my diasporans — wake up and support this spot! This is the future of Ghanaian cuisine: bold, plant-based, and rooted in our culture.

As Ama Kambon's mom, I have watched the great journey of our young chef who started off, at 5 years old, making healthy food prep videos for children, to now owning her own restaurant. I had the pleasure of attending an Nkwa Dua food tasting, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious courses from drinks and appetizers to main course and dessert. The sobolo was Ama-zing, and most impressive was the great presentation by our 16 year...
