New York Sizzler — Restaurant in Greater Accra Region

On arrival, we sat out on the patio with intentions of sitting outside. However, the seating for outdoors was pretty mediocre. After being seated for quite sometime, we decided to move inside. All three of us ordered different items off the menu. I ordered the grilled grouper with mashed potatoes. The grouper was well seasoned and the potatoes were the right amount of cheesy. Nana ordered the sirloin steak well done(no chances taken) with mashed potatoes as well. There was no sirloin forcing her to settle for pepper steak. She enjoyed the meal but did mention the steak was a little chewy. Henry refused to comment on his experience with his meal so not much help really. Our meal took over 40 minutes to arrive. The waitress was pretty nonchalant the whole time. Pushing alternatives for menu items that weren’t being served. The most “whaaat” moment was when our waitress charged extra for a glass of fruit juice because it contained two different fruits. A point I felt was the waitress’ duty to highlight. I think inside is where you want to be. From decent lighting to a well ventilated dining area. Everything was going great as we enjoyed our meal from the music to waiting. I needed to empty the sea monster so I made my way to the restroom. As soon as I enter, I notice there’s a closet and stall seperated by the wash basin, not more than 3 feet. Sounds like just the closet would have made sense there. Over time the service will improve but for now it’s back to the drawing board if you work there. I’ll be returning after a month to see if the quality of service...

On Sunday 7th March at 17.07(5.07pm), I called your Westhills Restaurant because your online menu was not active.

I asked the lady who answered the phone to take a photo of the menu and WhatsApp it to me so I could place and order and get my driver to pick it. I had just returned from a very tiring trip. She reluctantly agreed but never did.

Sort out your online menu. Employ people who are eager to help your business succeed even if it means using unconventional methods.

I was not impressed. I ordered a beef burger that was alot of bread with a tiny beef and hard onions. The burger was breaking apart like it was frozen. The fufu with goat meat was ok. The fufu is not pounded but powder. The goat meat was ok and soup was salty but ok. The vegetable pizza had so many vegetables but very little cheese. Although we ordered a large it appeared much smaller than the pizza I've ordered from other restaurants. Overall very overpriced for frozen, powered, small food. I've had better for less. Will...
