If I could rate it 0 stars I would. I left the place in tears. The most terrible service I have ever experienced. They paint the image of a high end establishment but the comments on the service speaks for itself. I moved table into the restuarant so I had full access to the food menu, when I moved over I had a big beach bag, and the waiter asked me to follow him to my new table, and he watched as I struggled to pick up the big ice bucket my water was in, aswell as the cup I had in my hand. Then as we walked over to the restuarant, another waitress shouted after me 'excuse me where are you going' , I explained I was following her colleague to my new table. She said I needed to pay for what I had ordered so far - It felt a bit odd considering my new table was around 10 meters from the other, but I do understand.
After being moved, I had a near 45m wait until my order was taken (First red flag and should of left at this point). The restaurant was between 60% to 70% full so it surprised me. After finally ordering food, it was a 3 hour wait. I am very non confrontational, and was occasionally trying to flag down waiters to ask the status of my food after the first hour of waiting (bare in mind no one would be checking how you are doing - you need to flag the waiters every time you need something which is unusual for a 'high end' restaurant. I was very understanding and never rude. The waiters would then disappear to find out and not come back, until eventually I managed to flag down the manager (again - after 3 hours of waiting) and said to cancel my order. I will be honest, I thought he might try and improve my experience by sorting out the order for me. He literally just turned round and said yep sure will cancel that now, removed my water bottle from the ice bucket and walked off. I was so shocked!
Needless to say, as I was there as a woman on my own, waiting in near 30 degree heat for 3 hours I felt really embarrassed, and not to mention quite unwell / faint at this point as I was so hot and hungry! I left with tears in my eyes feeling very stupid for having waited and been patient. This is an arrogant establishment, they will charge premium prices for terrible service. If I was a man in head to toe designer I know without a doubt my experience would of been different. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, the reviews on this place...
Read moreWe had an absolutely wonderful time at Sorros Beach Bar in Antiparos, so much so that we spent two days soaking in the full experience. We stayed on-site, and our room was impeccably clean, featuring all the amenities you could need, including luxurious Elemis and Apivita body products. The rooms were peaceful and quiet—perfect for a restful escape.
Our mornings started with a lovely breakfast, included with our stay. We were greeted by Fotini, who explained how the menu works. The entire team is professional, well-spoken, and highly trained; it’s clear they know how to handle all kinds of guests with grace and efficiency. We enjoyed watching yachts arrive and taxi boats collect passengers right in front of us, yet the service remained impeccable—even when high-profile celebrities are also dining.
On the beach, we were served by Yianni, who was incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive. He recommended a cocktail made with local wine, which was incredibly refreshing. The beach itself is stunning with crystal-clear waters, and the music was the perfect chill-out vibe—never too loud. It’s also an ideal place for families, as it’s a safe and beautiful spot for kids.
We later made our way up to the busy, thriving restaurant. A saxophonist entertained us as we ordered drinks and waited for our table. I definitely suggest pre-booking, but I was impressed to see how easily they accommodated walk-ins as well. For lunch, the team did a fantastic job accommodating dietary needs and ensured we didn’t miss any of their signature dishes—they really know their stuff! We loved everything we had.
I’d also like to mention that some things are beyond the control of the business, like the depth of the water or the warmth of the sun, so I’d recommend enjoying Sorros for what it truly offers: a beautiful relaxing escape in Antiparos with crystal clear waters, managed with great care and attention to detail. Highly recommended! We...
Read moreMy friends and I had such an amazing experience at the Soros Beach Hotel! We stayed here for a week in order to attend our friend's wedding events on Antiparos.||||This hotel is located on an incredibly beautiful beach in Antiparos. My fiance and I stayed in a Double Superior room which we could tell had been recently updated. It was spacious, the AC worked well, and we loved utilizing our private balcony. Free breakfast was included with our stay and we took advantage of it every day. The menu was quite extensive and included a juice and coffee. Enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view of the ocean was an amazing way to start every morning!||||We also utilized the beach chairs and service every day. My friends and I would get to the beach before 1PM and did not have a problem reserving lounges together. The weekends were a bit busier which was to be expected. The food and drink service on the beach was incredible because the servers were all so friendly and attentive. The food was a bit pricey but fair IMO for an island resort, and it was truly very good. The ocean was crystal clear and the views really couldn't be beat. Every day we marveled at what a good time we were having!||||The hotel restaurant was convenient for evenings where we didn't have dinner plans or wanted to grab a drink at the bar. We also really appreciated that Vivianna was able to arrange transportation for us whenever we needed a ride to the week's wedding events. She was super responsive and had cars waiting for us whenever we asked.||||Overall the service and value was really incredible. We could tell that the hotel had changed management recently because the reviews we had read really didn't match our experience. I would rebook in a heartbeat if I ever find myself traveling to...
