Great view but as soon as it gets dark the place is not very well lit. Service was pretty poor - the lady serving us didn't seem too happy that we showed up at 8 and then just scowled her way through every interaction with us. After our initial order for food and drinks had been placed there was just one visit to our table by a polite young chap who generally seemed quite embarrassed by it all. The steak and burgers served to the table were very salty - worthy of complaint but didn't want to kick up a fuss - just asked for ketchup and mustard to hide the taste - was edible. However, my wife's seafood pasta was raw and had way too much fennel in it - was inedible. After our meal, the polite young guy who brought our drinks asked if food was ok, so I told him about the seafood pasta but the price of the dish was not taken from the bill. From reading all the positive reviews, they could have just been having a bad night but I wouldn't return. I can cope with poor and expensive food but I know where I'm not wanted. Cold Mythos, good company, a superb greek salad and first night buzz saved this review from being a two out of five. At least smile when you're taking €180 from me and serving my wife an inedible meal. If you're eating when dark, bring your own...
Read moreA fantastic place to sit and enjoy a pint and ice cream. We didn't dine in for food. It was a bank holiday over there in Greece and they didn't really want us to sit and take up a table if we weren't dining food menu. It didn't look busy, however many of the seats had belongings on them and customers were enjoying a swim in the sea.
We did question why couldn't we have an icecream and beer, if no-one was at the table next too us but belongings were! We didn't get moved on🙂 but we weren't going to be long either. We enjoyed a big table seated us six under a banana tree. Was cool. Also met the cat. I never used the loos but the children reported there was only obd of each and the lock didn't work on the men's. Otherwise can't comment anymore on that.
Waiter was polite and we ordered our beer and kids had to go upstairs to see the ice-cream booth. There was a freezer with individual packet ones and there was someone serving scooped ones . Bills come and get left on the table when drinks came, but this is usual in Greece. Would loved to have tried a meal there. Menu...
Read moreWe had spent the morning on the beach and were a little peckish, so popped in here for food. The menu when it came was all in Greek, and the waiter suggested we Google it to translate it! (Not very professional, in my opinion!) The food was mediocre at best. My partner had Octopus, which he lives but was really disappointed on the dish. He got one, rubbery, over cooked tenticle and a mushy substance on the side (not actually sure what it was, and waiter wasn't much help), we had taramasalata, which resembled butter and was quite tasteless, a Greek salad that consisted of about 10 chopped up tomatoes, three pieces of cucumber, a small amount of onion and green pepper and a handful of olives, I am intolerant to tomatoes so couldn't eat much of it. The saving grace was an amuse bouche of whipped Feta, on a triangle of flat bread, dressed with honey and balsamic, which was divine. The whole meal cost €75 which we...
