As much as I want to give a good review, I can't. The staff were very friendly, though often times when you need them on the beach they are not there and you have to find them yourself up in the tavern. This tavern had the only sea beds on the beach so of course, trough out our vacation we stayed there. The coffee and fresh juices are nice, but the food itself was mediocre to bad-ish. The fish unfortunately was not cleaned inside when served, which made some of the people I was with sick in the stomach. The calamari where nice, but I can feel that the moussaka was microwaved and not even fully warmed up otherwise would have been a nice dish as well. Read moreThis place somehow stands out from the other tavernas on the seaside of Pyrgadikia, placed on the very edge of the small beach with its umbrellas and tables right next to the sea. The owner, Stratos is a very nice person and makes sure you feel welcomed. They also serve draft Amstel beer here, which is a perfect match with the tables on the seafront. The waiter seated people as if doing them a favor, with no trace of friendliness, and in our case, even placed the menus on our table while facing entirely the other direction, without any eye contact or interaction whatsoever, as if we were unwelcome guests at a canteen or something like that.
