It’s been 3 years since I first went to this gem of a restaurant and since then I go there at least twice per year. For me it one of the best fine dining restaurants in Athens and maybe the one with the best value for money! Food is out of this world and service is always stellar! What I would like is more wine per glass options! Other than that, keep it up!

Original review: I visited the restaurant on April 30st, 2022, a party of two. We were seated on the first floor right next to their wine cellar. For me this is the cosiest maybe table in the restaurant. We ordered:

  1. A whole baguette with butter: hot bread served with a block of buttee
  2. Jambon blanc with truffles: thinly sliced ham with delicious truffle aroma
  3. Escargots (snails): a generous portion with perfectly cleaned and cooked snails and a herb/ garlic sauce. Delicious!
  4. Chicken quenelles with shrimp and morels mushrooms: Delicious as well and a magnificent sauce
  5. Pigeon with foie gras and white and green asparagus: Decadent and incredibly tasty! Please more of this sauce next time!
  6. Beef bourguignon: beef cheecks cooked burgundy style. Meat was tender and very well cooked. I would like a more intense sauce though. This felt rather flat.
  7. Baba au rhum: Probably the best baba I have ever tried!

Service was attentive and professional (although I noticed a couple of mistakes that should not occur in a restaurant of this level). What I would like is more options for by-the-glass wine. In the red wines there are only two. Overall, I would say 4.5 stars but if I awarded 4 it would be unfair to them and hence the 5 stars. Would...

Nestled in the northern suburbs of Athens, Chef Alain Parodi’s restaurant “Veri Table” is a true culinary gem, earning its reputation with two well-deserved Michelin stars. Our recent dining experience was nothing short of exquisite, particularly with the seafood dishes that left us in awe of the chef's fine and delicate touch.

From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in an ambiance that was both elegant and welcoming. The décor was sophisticated yet comfortable, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and each staff member exuded a genuine passion for their craft.

Each course showcased the freshest seafood, prepared with an artistry that highlighted the natural flavors while adding a layer of finesse that only a chef of Alain Parodi’s caliber can achieve.

One cannot overlook the wine selection, a true cave à vins that would impress even the most discerning connoisseurs.

In conclusion, our evening at Chef Alain Parodi’s restaurant was a symphony of flavors, textures, and aromas that we will not soon forget. For those seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Athens, this establishment is a chef-d'œuvre. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, knowing that Chef Parodi’s culinary artistry will once again leave us enchanted.

Un grand merci to the entire team for an unforgettable...

The restaurant is really cozy and welcoming. Coming to food the experience is totally average comparing the prices in the menu. The "côte de veau"they mentioned was full of fat and after informing the waiter, that the dish was un-eatable, he did nothing😳, not an apology but just a fair explanation for the meat they used and was charged 38 euro. Otherwise the plater with French cheeses was good, and also the couver with great olives, crunchy hot baguette and a big chunk of premium butter. Coming to wine we were surprised that a glass of 75ml is charging from 22.00 to 35.00 EUR, a joke for good not exceptional French wines. Our selection was a bottle of a good red wine from Loire at 36.00 eur. There are better alternatives for a wine French bistrot in Athens..I was expecting more from the chef's reputation..I wonder if any French would pay what he is asking for the dishes...

The best french restaurant/bistrot in Athens! The food is heartwarming, the service excellent and wine list very carefully curated. They start with a warm home made baguette, olives and fresh salted butter. Needless to say I took the rest of the baguette home for breakfast! The tartare is served beautifully, the main courses were cooked to perfection and the wine was a spot on recommendation. Last but certainly not least, the crepe suzette were the prime example of what a crepe suzette should be. It is expensive but, to me, for good reason as the standard is very high.
