Goat roasted on an open spit and the traditional Easter delicacy of Kokoretsi was served to the appreciative families from across the island who had booked the place solid for the holiday Sunday and Monday lunch. It was a frantic pace for the delightful family that owns and runs this taverna on the village square and we had eaten here and had breakfast before - looks can be deceptive but this is a traditional village taverna serving hearty home made food that we just loved.
