Άγιος Διονύσιος Ταβέρνα - Δίον — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

The restaurants food was servicable at best. We ordered μπουγιουρντι as a side dish that arrived half full, almost as if we were eating the sloppy remainders of other costumers. The meat was alright but nothing special, there's are countless other restaurants that offer better quality meat, and side dishes. There isn't a very large selection of beer, but the wine was okay. The service was fine, albeit the waiters took forever to get our order, and they simply refused to pick up the plates after we were done eating, contributing g significantly to the number of flies present. Food arrived quickly and was warm. It was also increadably expensive for what we were getting. Finally, the atmosphere is great for kids offering a large yard and a descent playground to run around in. The restaurant offers many tables and is a predominantly outdoor restaurant. The biggest problem arises with the number of flies that were present at the restaurant. It was absurd. I have never in my life seen more flies in a single spot. Every table had the same problem swatting away at them almost sincroneosly. This was not helped by the lack of action against the flies. From what I could tell, there was no attempt to combat the flies by the staff. All contributing towards a disgusting amount of flies over every single table, making you disgusted to eat the food in front of you. I cannot stress enough how many flies there were. Overall, I would not recommend coming here...

We had a wonderful time at Άγιος Διονύσιος Ταβέρνα in Dion. This traditional Greek taverna is a peaceful oasis — nestled under the shade of large trees, it’s the perfect spot to relax, escape the heat, and enjoy authentic local flavors.

We ordered a selection of meze dishes and were truly impressed by the variety and quality. Every plate brought something unique: fresh ingredients, classic recipes, and a homemade feel that really stood out. Δυστυχώς το επίπεδο του φαγητού που προσφέρει πλέον δεν έχει καμία σχέση με παλιά!! Το ίδιο και η εξυπηρέτηση!! Πήραμε 2 κιλά ψητό κατσίκι το οποίο ήταν όλο λίπος , κόκαλα και σπονδυλική στήλη!!☹️ Το κοκορέτσι ήταν παλιό και οι 3 τρεις ψητές πατάτες που το συνόδευαν ποιος ξέρει πόσων ημερών!! Δε ντράπηκαν και τις έβαλαν ως συνοδευτικό!!!☹️ Η αγγούροντοματα χαλιά!!! Για γλυκό ούτε λόγος!! Μας έφεραν ένα κεφαλάκι που είχαν αφαιρέσει το μυαλό!!! Δεν μας άφησαν να καθίσουμε στα τραπέζια στο γρασίδι γιατί τάχα είχε κάποια εκδήλωση και μας στείλανε στο ξύλινο σκεπαστό αλλά τα τραπέζια που δεν μας άφησαν να κάτσουμε στην αυλή παρέμειναν άδεια ώσπου να φύγουμε!!☹️ Επίσης σε εμάς έφεραν αψητο το ψωμί ενώ σε άλλες παρέες το έφερναν ψημένο με λάδι από πάνω!! Θεωρώ πως αυτή δεν είναι συμπεριφορά σε κανέναν πελάτη πόσο μάλλον σε πελάτες ετών που στηρίζουν την επιχείρηση σου και έρχονται μάλιστα από μακρυά και φέρνουν και άλλα άτομα μαζί!!! Πραγματικά ντροπή !! Αλλά μετά από αυτά ΔΕΝ θα μας ξαναδείτε κύριοι!! Πήγαμε μεγάλη παρέα, και αισθανθηκαμε όλοι απογοητευμένοι!!! Κρίμα η επιχείρηση που ο αείμνηστος και αληθινός άρχοντας Δημήτριος Κρεμετης δημιούργησε και ανέδειξε να καταλήξει σε αυτή την κατάντια με έντονη οσμή μιζέριας και κακομοιριάς!!! Πραγματικά κρίμα!! Κάποια στιγμή θα πρέπει να αντιληφθούν ότι η μιζέρια που τους κατακλύζει διώχνει...
