Óstria — Restaurant in Dorida Municipality

Not the best choice In front of main port, with port view. First dishes, salads and drinks came on time and were good. Then it took 1 hour(!), to get main dishes served which included fish, spaghetti and rice-filled vegetables..we couldn't sit no more as our bums went numb... Fish I ordered was expensive 60 euro a kg, but was very dry, tasteless and gummy, left half in the plate and complaint about it. But the lady who recommended the fish said its totally fresh and this is it. The spaghetti was also not soft and our youngest didn't touch it.. We left nice 71 euro, 33 euro for the fish/ 2 adults and 2 kids. For that money we got much better quality and use of our time. Very average. Hope they can take this...

Clasic Greek taverna. The island is a gem. You feel like you are on the set of Mama Mia. 4/5 restaurants little harbour, small beach. Fanatastic place. It was a saturday night. Restaurant was full. We ordered tatzki ostria salad and eggplant meze with a 1 kg of Red snapper with local wine. both of the mezes and the salad were very good and delicious. The fish was not at the same level. Awesome food,kind staff! I was not expecting much as it would be very easy for them to rely on the nice place and the fact that there is a limited selection of restaurants on the island and cut back on the quality but it was some of the best fish and sea food I have tried! Everything that we tried was perfect (the Greek salad, kolokuthokeftedes,kalamari,fresh fish). And the lady who was running the place was super sweet and kind! Absolutely...
