Iliopoulos Seafood Tavern — Restaurant in Dorida Municipality

It is a really great seafood restaurant in Monastiraki!! Everything was fresh, and there were also choices in plates that had a modern twist (I recommend shrimp salad with quinoa). Personally, I consider the grilled octopus and the grilled shrimps as the best plates! The atmosphere is beautiful and cosy. It is also located by the sea. At the end of our meal, we also ordered deserts, which were fine. The prices are a bit higher than expected but the place is definitely worth every penny!! This restaurant is one of my favourite go to eateries. You must order their grilled octopus, fava dip, fresh beetroot salad, egg plant, zucchini pita and greek salad of course. Yum. After you can walk to the little beach for a swim. This is beside the taverna. Bring your water shoes as the pebbles will make it uncomfortable on your bare feet. Higher end restaurant in the area recommended by locals and reasonably priced. Beautiful setting by the beach and very efficient service (though could have been friendlier). Food, for the most part, was great - particularly recommend the mussels, deep fried anchovies and taramas salad. Portion sizes were also very generous.
