Kozi Blu — Restaurant in Icaria Municipality

Out of 4 things we ordered, only one was exceptional, others were average or just below. Beet and goat cheese salad was a failed experiment, keftedes very plain, orzotto with scampi was almost inedible due to some kind of sourish cheese inside, but the eggplant was outstanding. When we inquired about the dessert we were told we'd get a small free dessert with our bill, but we still decided to order a portokalopita to share (quite average I'm afraid). When we asked for the bill, we did not get the small dessert and when we inquired about it, we were pretty rudely told to come back another time and we'd get it then. The nerve! Listen, if you give a free small dessert with the bill then it is never a question whether to give it or not, you should always give it. It is a matter of consistency and respect. Also, it was quite unusual that they never asked if we liked our food. Skip this place, there are so much better options...

We had an amazing dining experience here – highly recommended! Everything on the menu looked so good that we actually ended up coming back for a second night in a row. The portions are generous, so on the first night we took some leftovers home and enjoyed them for lunch the next day. The view is stunning, and the staff are very friendly! It’s easy to book a table through Instagram via direct message. It wasn’t necessary for us this time, but I can imagine it gets busy during peak season and rightly so! Tip: Park your car at the harbor and walk to the restaurant it’s only a 5-minute walk. If you use Google Maps for driving directions, it will take you along the upper road where parking is very limited...

My absolute favorite restaurant on Ikaria. Nestled into a cute pocket of the city Evdilos, Kozi Blu has wonderful food, the most friendly and engaging staff, and an elegant terrace overlooking the harbor. The octopus, orzo, and salads are standouts I recommend with enthusiasm. The house white wine was excellent and from a high-quality local producer.

In one week, we’ve dined here 3x, and we intend to do so at least once more prior to returning home to Athens.
