Sotiris — Restaurant in Icaria Municipality

Seguendo i preziosi consigli di Trip, ci siamo catapultati già la prima sera in questo locale situato in zona collinare. Il primo impatto è stato davvero agghiacciante...alle 21 di Sabato sera essere gli unici clienti non è certo di buon auspicio...fin da subito la proprietaria che ci ha visto spaesati si è giustificata dicendoci che oggi era così perché quella sera non avrebbero fatto la musica live causa lamentele di un vicino poco tollerante (sottolineo...il locale è in mezzo al nulla cosmico!!), ma vabbè...detto questo ci è stato subito detto che tutte le pietanze presenti in menù sono "home made" ed effettivamente la genuinità dei piatti offerti non si discute. Tutto buono, dalle verdure ai vari tipi di carne da loro proposti. Nota stonatissima il vino a dir poco imbevibile ed il muro di api avventatesi su un paio di piatti avanzati all'ora di pranzo, che, evidentemente, per loro risultano essere più importanti della clientela che si siede nei tavoli vicini e giustamente può anche preferire non averne uno sciame che gira loro intorno...

Το επισκεφθήκαμε Παρασκευή βράδυ, μετά από συστάσεις αρκετού κόσμου. Είναι πολύ συμπαθητικός χώρος με πολλά τραπεζάκια έξω. Είχαν γίνει αρκετές κρατήσεις αλλά βρήκαμε να κάτσουμε. Ο κατάλογος δεν είναι πολύ μεγάλος αλλά υπάρχουν σούβλες οπότε σίγουρα θα βρεις κάτι καλό. Τα φαγητά ήταν πολύ νόστιμα. Δοκιμάσαμε κοντοσούβλι, κολοκυθάκια τηγανητά και κάποια ακόμη ορεκτικά. Είχε live μουσική και πολύ χορό. Ο ορισμός της Ικαριωτικης διασκέδασης. Περάσαμε πολύ όμορφα.

We visited Sotiris on a Friday night. There were a lot of reservations but we had no problem finding a table. It is a spacious place with plenty of seats.
