As expats living on Corfu, just across the water from Plataria, we often escape here for long weekends. Being so close allows us to visit multiple times, giving us the chance to share a fair and well-rounded review.
Our first experience at this restaurant wasn’t ideal — we left with mixed feelings and some disappointment. However, we believe it was just an unfortunate off day, so we gave it another chance… and we’re glad we did!
From our second visit onwards, every experience has been excellent. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is truly special.
The view of Corfu island from the garden is stunning, especially at sunset — it’s a romantic setting with well-maintained greenery that shows how much the owners care about the space. The interior is also spotless and stylish, with white tablecloths that make it perfect for a more elegant evening out.
Their wine list is impressive. We’re big fans of Malagousia grapes, and while that wine is a bit on the pricey side for the mainland, it’s a lovely option. The house wine is also excellent — I appreciated being able to taste it before ordering, just in case it wasn’t to my liking (it was delicious!).
The service is professional and friendly, and they speak English, which makes ordering and asking questions easy. Yes, it can be a bit slower when the place gets busy, but that’s to be expected. We usually order starters first to avoid the mains arriving too early — nothing worse than feeling rushed.
As for the food — simply perfect. The salads are always fresh and full of flavor. I’m a pasta lover, and their fresh pasta never disappoints. My partner prefers pizza, and the spicy option really is spicy — not just in name!
Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant. We truly enjoy every visit and will definitely return on our next trip...
Read morefood is very good with sizeable portions, especially the salads. only cacophony is that there are children swings very near to the dinner tables - this, combined with some less considerate parents, it can create some non-wanted noise, especially when the kids decide to run screaming around the tables, without any consideration for other guests dining at the time! Apart from that, the restaurant is...
