Just visited this place for lunch. I am unable to say anything re the food quality. My feedback is in relation to their very poor customer service. Seven of us arrived at this place at lunch time. I told the young guy with blue eyes that we want to be seated in front of the sea. He refused saying that they have no space. The tavern was half empty. The guy then tried to push me to accept to be seated in the middle of the tavren with restricted see view. When I rejected his snicky offer he became sarcastic. I advised that I am going to check another place nearby before deciding. The same guy with blue eyes sarcasticly replied that there are no other places nearby. When I told him that Hamodrakas (with not the best food in town, but with much much better sea view and seats) is another place not far from this area he ironically said that that place is "amazing" and wished us to have a nice time there. From a customer service point of view, I do not recommend this place. Very amateur poor customer service indeed.
UPDATE: With regard to the response below: No one informed us re COVID restrictions. The person who served us did not even wear a mask. Your restaurant was half empty and you just wanted to fill up the space in the middle of your restaurant, i.e. the space with restricted sea view. This was the only intention. Your employees have a very amateur/poor ability to communicate with customers. Irony and sarcasm should not be used with your potential customers. Instead of providing a proper training to your employees you prefer responding in an unprofessional way. COVID should not be used to cover your inability to treat your customers...
Read moreDecent fish restaurant with outdoor tables just at the edge of the sea. Beautiful day and night views of the Thermaikos gulf and the holidays resorts opposite. The place has an extensive choice of wines but most people will prefer ouzo with this kind of food. The menu consists of a great variety of fish, common in the greek waters. Be aware that fresh fish is expensive in greek restaurants. Depending on the choice of the fish, the price can be as high as 60-70 euros per kilo. A cheaper choice is the seafood, the most common been mussels, fried, cooked in steam or boiled with rice and squids, grilled or fried. Also grilled octopus, smoked cod, small fried fish. All this you can find in the restaurant in good quality and accompanied with side dishes to share, such as fried zucchini and eggplants, feta cheese and various greek appetizers. For dessert it's season fruits and the day's sweet on the house. If you stick, like most Greeks do nowdays, with just seafood and various dishes to share, plus lots of ouzo, expect to pay 15 to 20 euros per person, if you choose fish, prepare...
Read moreA restaurant I found after about 30 minutes of research to eat delicious seafood. I liked that it was by the sea and the taste of the food came to the fore. The restaurant's car park has the capacity to accommodate enough vehicles. There are indoor and outdoor places. The welcoming and inside service staff are friendly and courteous. The interior of the restaurant was spacious and the table setting was nice. Tables, plates, spoons, forks and knives are very clean. When I looked at the other guests, I couldn't see anything offensive. It took a reasonable amount of time to place our food orders and arrive. No delay! Our meals arrived at the right temperature and beautifully presented. Gialos Salad ingredients and dressing were successful. Our choice as fish was red mullet and we ate it with pleasure. Calamari, octopus with sauce, crab salad and others were delicious. There are free sweet treats at the end of the meal. The price is fine, the food we ate is delicious and the service quality is...
