Foliá Tavern — Restaurant in Karpenisi Municipality

I would definitely NOT recommend this place. We visited the place a night when a live music event was going on meaning that the owner should expect more people to visit and plan accordingly. However, we were disappointed to find that they were out of most of the things we wanted to order, meaning we had to choose from the limited list of available dishes. The waiter was very rude and, when we only ordered a main dish and two starters (obviously, we weren't going to order what THEY wanted to serve) he asked if all four of us were going to share (as if it was any of his business...). Definitely a tavern NOT worth visiting!! The place in itself looks good and the food was good in terms of taste. However, the waiter was extremely rude. He was criticizing our choices and also the amount of food we wanted to order (note that there is no minimum order amount). Specifically, he made sure to point out ironically if we were all going to eat from one plate. When the food came (after a large conversation since half of the menu was unavailable) the portions were really small. And the second round of wine we got (which was after the conversation) was warm and mediocre. Overall I wouldn't suggest it unless you manage to get served by a different waiter. Maybe the chances then to enjoy your time...

Lovely food with great quality and quantity! As a person that doesn't eat meat but has friends that do, i found many tasty options which was a relief! It has a greek traditional tavern atmosphere but in a nice and clean way (if you know you know)! Friendly and really helpful staff! We will definitely visit again! Highly...
