We spent two days here and had a totally different experience.
The first time we came on weekend. There is more people on weekend here but we arrived early and found an available beach set. Due to having more guests, there were more waiters serving the beach. In our part of the beach, there was a girl from Serbia (don't know her name) that was really attentive to everyone on the beach. She was almost always present near and going up and down between the beach and the restaurant, doing an exceptional job! I wish I could have praised her work (hope this review reaches her).
The other day we came here was a regular working day, with not all beach sets being taken. There was a Greek girl, being the only one serving the whole beach. She spent almost all of the time up at the restaurant counter, talking to other employees. She rarely came to the beach, even less to the part of the beach where we were on the side. We could have easily left the beach without paying for anything as she was not looking at guests. We had to walk up to the restaurant to pay. It was really a huge difference between this and the day before.
Still, we really liked this beach because of the sea and the sand. To reach Agora, you exit the main road and descend 200 meters until you reach the parking area. From there, you take a series of stairs (not too many :)) to reach the restaurant and the beach. The beach itself is one of the better in Kriopigi area. Some parts of the beach enter shadow from trees earlier than some others, though. There was nice music playing all the time, more hearable on weekend day still.
The beach sets are not cheap, they start from 20 euros for an umbrella with two sunbeds in second row on the side, 30 euros for an umbrella with sunbeds and a chair in the first row on the side, 50 euros for a set in central part and 100 euros for some premium spots. This is just for renting the set, no consumption included. The prices on the beach are neither that low, but the food is good (we ate a greek salad and a club sandwich). We didn't eat at the restaurant which offers much greater variety of food.
This is a nice beach for families with children due to nice sand, nice water and some natural shade in one part of the beach. A great place if you have a SUP 🙂
I will come here again definitely and hope the service gets better...
Read moreWe travelled from abroad in search of the perfect venue in Greece for a special occasion, and out of all the places we visited, Agora Beach: Greek Kouzina & Restaurant truly stood out. From the moment we met Pavlos, the owner, it was clear this place was something special. His energy, passion, and dedication were immediately evident, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
Our menu tasting was effortless and absolutely incredible — every dish was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, with warm, genuine attention to detail from every member of the team. From the front of house to the kitchen, it felt like everyone genuinely cared about creating an unforgettable experience.
The setting is simply stunning — a true hidden gem right on the beach in Kriopigi. It’s easy to assume this is just a beach bar or restaurant, but it’s so much more. If you’re looking for delicious food, top-tier service, expert recommendations, and smiling, welcoming faces, this is the place.
To Pavlos, his amazing staff, and the incredible chef — thank you all. You’ve shown us what true 5-star Greek hospitality looks like. We left with full hearts and full stomachs, and we genuinely wish we could hug everyone for making it all so perfect.
If you’re considering Agora Beach for your special event or just want to enjoy an unforgettable meal by the sea — go with an open mind, trust the team, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

Read moreWe were really looking forward to a relaxing day by the beach, but unfortunately, this beach bar left a lot to be desired.
They charge €30 per sunbed, and that’s just for the bed – no drinks or food included, like it's done usually on other beach bars. Everything else is extra, and quite overpriced. We arrived early, so we had to wait for the beach bar to open in 10.00 am to get some drinks, and on top of that, the sunbeds were dirty and sandy, clearly not cleaned, with leftover food, half-empty drinks, and cigarette butts in the sand, all from the previous day.
To top it off, the moment you park your car, you're charged €10 for parking, but instead of an actual parking ticket, you get a voucher to spend at the bar. Sounds okay… until you see the prices. That €10 will get you two single espressos – if you're lucky. Everything else is even more expensive.
To make matters worse, there are way too many steps to go down to the beach and back up again, which isn’t mentioned anywhere. Definitely not ideal if you’re carrying bags, with kids, or just want a stress-free beach visit.
We don’t mind paying extra – but only when there’s extra service, comfort, or at the very least, basic cleanliness and respect for the guests. Unfortunately, none of that was delivered here.
Overall, it felt like they’re charging premium prices without offering even the most basic standards of cleanliness or value. Definitely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless they seriously step...
