Almira beach bar — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We went there on monday at 10.40 am. There are lots of empty places. We paid 60 euro in advance to get 2 sunbeds,1 comfortable chair and an umbrella. You have to eat or drink which costs 60 euro. We were 3 people and we drink coffee, 2 cocktails, 1 beer, 2 pastas and a chicken based lunch that covered our 60 euro. Music was a little bit loud but the type is nice and cool. People were came about afternoon so it is less crowded in the morning. Foods are really delicious but cocktails are big no unfortunately. We will definitely go back there because this is one of the best sea we have ever seen, cyristal blue green sandy sea and it is pretty cold when you swim far. After the 3 pm, the entrance of the sea gets really dirty but once you pass that entrance you can still enjoy the clean beautiful sea. There were some rocks in the entrance of the sea but we didn't mind. The place also have a parking space. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Umbrellas are not so close so to each other which is nice. Also there are free areas near the beach but they are so crowded. You have a less crowded sea by paying that money and there were less kids in the area which is nice if you just want...

We always go there when we're in Kassandra, because generally for us this is the best place to spend the day at the beach - good food and drinks, good music, not large beach, but sandy in most parts. However, today we were greeted by the waitress with "I have minimum consumption per umbrella 30 Euro." We said that is Ok, we went there to have drinks and lunch, also I guess this is some spesial price for the low season, because it is usually 60 E. We ordered drinks (2 frappe + 2 fresh orange juices) as a start, because it was too early for lunch and the girl asked us to prepay the 30 E with taking the order! We paid. A drink and 3 dishes later, her colleague Alex came and informed us that now we owe 23 E extra on top of the 30 and asked if we are Ok with that!!! To say nothing of the fact, that he served a ceaser's salad, without a fork, and I waited 15 more minutes to bring me the fork. I asked him if he wants us to pay right now. Nice beach bar at the end of the Kalithea beach, with fair prices and great service. There is no extra charge for sunbeds, but you need to order something (e.g. a coffee per person for 7 euros), so it is then 14 euros for two people in one sunbed set with umbrella. The food is great and the portions are generous, that was a pleasant surprise! The beach has a few rocks the first few meters, but then becomes a beautiful turquoise mirror like sea with thin sand and in general is not too deep (unless you swim far in). There are a few parking spots but honestly they are full very fast so unless you plan on going very early I would not recommend driving down there, as it is a very narrow little alley that barely fits a car to go, and as a result cars get "stuck" if someone is coming from the opposite direction. On the other hand, going down to the Kalithea beach in general is a nightmare as you need to down an extremely steep downhill, which is not the best in this heatwave (plus the way back up that is even worse).
