Χάλια! Horrible Horrible Service!!! If I could give less than 1 star—I would. I kindly asked if I could return my cocktail for another. I had only taken one sip to try it & it was way too sweet. The server basically laughed at me when I kindly told her “I’m so sorry, I really don’t like this drink, it’s way too sweet for me but I tasted my husbands and loved it, may I please change.” The server said that since she BROUGHT me the cocktail I ordered, I would have to pay for another and keep the one I don’t like. She retired with two cheap shots to make my husband and I “happy”. We asked if we could speak to her manager, she said “I am the superior here” and since the ingredients in the cocktail I ordered were correct, their policy is to charge the guest even if they don’t like it. We then asked to speak to her boss, she refused to get them. At this point we had to get up and find someone to talk to. The man we spoke with also refuted to simply switch my cocktail and demanded that we pay for it. I had taken ONE sip to taste it and it was so obvious the maple syrup was SO overwhelming, I was more than kind and calm when I made my complaint. At this point it was over 45 min of going back and forth , debating over ONE cocktail. We asked if we could simply just return the cocktail and pay for the one we got (we actually very much enjoyed it and I wanted to switch to that one). They followed us out the door speaking in Greek as if I wouldn’t understand them because my husband I speak English amongst us. Saying we’re arguing over “malakies and that he’s a Malakas blah blah blah…” they simply didn’t care to take back the drink and let us pay for one we loved. It was just overall such a terrible experience and sadly ruined our entire evening. I found this place a after seeing beautiful photos online and were really looking forward to show my husband where I am from and show him a beautiful view. So disappointed. Don’t expect good service if you go & please don’t expect any...
Read moreIt's good in late September when the whole town is dead, but shockingly awful customer experience when more tourists are around. Firstly, we wanted to make a reservation couple of hours before visiting the place - the guy at the door asked how many people we would be, when answered 4, he thought for a couple of seconds and told us that we need to consume for at least 150 euros. Decided not to fall for that, came at around 22.30 and was given a place at a very packed place of the bar under the staircase for the restaurant, where the waiters were constantly creating traffic, carrying ice buckets and hitting us. When asked one of the waiters whether we can move to another part of the bar, which is a bit more central and approved by him, suddenly two host guys from the door came and started saying that they need this spot because it was reserved (which was obviously not) and said that we need to go to our old place or we have to pay 200 euros for a table. Looks like there is 50 euros off if you reserve earlier in the day 😀 After that my friend ordered a drink (we were at the old place at the bar already), the waiter suddenly tapped him at the shoulder in 30 minutes and said "this is what you ordered". My friend totally forgot about that he ordered a drink asked him "what is that?" and the waiter suddenly started shouting that he was very busy in preparing drinks for other customers at which my friend refused to take the drink and the waiter started shouting even more and swearing in Greek. The DJ plays every song for approximately 30 seconds and totally kills the vibe. The only good thing is...
Read moreWent for lunch, I ordered a club sandwich which wasn't great - soggy salad and low on the chicken filling. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fillet. Mine came out 15 minutes before his and he had to ask when his would be served. The server said he'd find out and never came back. Then we watched the chicken take a tour of the restaurant because she didn't know which table it was for, tried to get her attention but we were ignored until my boyfriend actually stood up to go and tell her it was for him and she finally noticed.
I asked a woman behind the bar where the toilets were but before I could actually finish my sentence she just said "inside" so I managed to get my question out and she just said "inside" again. Confused since I thought we were already inside, I asked which way and she gave me the dirtiest look and pointed aggressively the way to the toilet.
So if you want terrible service, rubbish food and to be spoken to like poop this is the...
