Cabana Beach Bar — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Three stars but i was split between three snd four. Maybe four is also fair. I will explain why.

First off, there is a min consumption but with that unbrellas and sunbeds and extra lounge chair are free. And they are very comfortable, like really better than 90% of any other beach. They are worth it alone.

Where we sat min consumption was 30eur - totally fine with us, we are mid 30s with 2 babies under 2. If we stay 2+hrs at the beach i go through 2-3beers, water, food, coffes etc. in other words we spend that much at least anyways at any other beach, with paid or free umbrellas.

The place is nice and modern but relatively minimalist and there is both foid as well as coolbar to sit at with tables not just the usual beach bar. It is a nice place, nice facilities, it is well put together and well kept + clean. Bravo

Service is really good - host at the door uber polite, waiters super polite, clean and well kept. In short, kudos for the service.

What i personally didnt like - the atmosphere was weird. Nothing to do with the bar, more with the patrons. It felt like everyone with miney from eastern europe was there to show off but at the beach everyone is in swim trunks so you can’t tell but they kept looking to see if someone is looking and admirng lol.

In general it felt much more suited for people without kids, even though we were more than welcomed with ours, blasting house mysic wasnt ideal. But lets be fair, it is not the bars fault that they dont target me and my kids and moreover they welcomed us very nicely regardless.

The one bit i really really didnt like that much was the food. I went for caesar salad. This was a few lettuce stems, the chicken was sadly the reconstituted deli slices type, and it all was literally swimming in mayonaise based sauce , with extra sauce squirted in top.

It was really poor for the price and the general ambiance. Made me happy i didnt order the sushi lol. My girl ordered some yogurt and she was happy with it, also got a tuna sandwich that she liked but lets face it, tuna salad is cannd tuna w mayo, can’t really mess it up.

So overall i think it us worth almost 4stars because of the service and the quality if the sunbeds and rhe beach itself.

Its not worth 5 because of the food.

The atmosphere didnt impact my score, as it us a place that is much better for people w/o kids, so thats not an issue given i picked it. I suspect owner is Eastern European.

I wouldnt go back but i wouldnt dissuade anyone w/o kids from going - in fact the opposite - i think many people...

I recently visited a beach club with high expectations of excellent service, given its reputation as a beautiful establishment that promised top-notch customer care. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

On my arrival, my female friends were already at the club without any children and were able to choose their preferred seats. However, when I arrived later with two kids, the staff claimed that the place was fully booked and there were no available seats. This felt like a blatant lie and an unfair treatment towards customers.

Another instance was when we made a reservation with specific seats reserved until 11:30 AM. Despite arriving at 11:45 AM, the staff informed us that our reservation was no longer valid, even though numerous empty seats were visible. They insisted that these spots were “pre-booked,” but it seemed highly unlikely for them to fill up all those empty seats within 15 minutes. This left us feeling cheated and disappointed by their dishonesty.

In addition to these issues, the overall attitude of the staff was lackluster and unhelpful. Their lack of professionalism was evident in every interaction, making the experience even more unpleasant.

In conclusion, my visit to this beach club was marred by false promises, poor service, and unhelpful staff. It is disheartening to see a place with such potential for excellence fall short on its commitments. I would not recommend this beach club to others based on my experience. If I could, I would give this beach and bar MINUS 100 stars!!!! This is the WORST beach and bar I’ve ever been to!! And trust me, I am the kind of person who has travelled a lot to different countries, so I know how things go. Here on this beach they are trying to milk you off money!!! This is their ONLY PURPOSE! The moment you step in, if you are a group of 4 and more, they are trying to make you stay with the whole group under only ONE umbrella. And mind you, this umbrella on their beach has holes in it, so it is barely useful to protect from sunburn.

Also, one umbrella set on their besch has only TWO sunbeds and only TWO very small chairs. And consumation PER PERSON is 40 EUR on the second row. And on the first row 50 EUR/per person. So if you do the math, a group of 4 people will pay around 120-150 EUR in the first 2 rows and they will get to stay under one umbrella in 38 degrees heat!! Even though consumation is in that cost, it is too much! The beach bar was not very nice looking anyway. I’ve seen WAY BETTER, but I chose to go there because it was close to our stay.

Moreover, a guy at the entrance who was in their staff was very rude to us, mind you us being their customers and ready to pay for their services!! So we left, as our day was already ruined by their rudeness and it was my husband’s birthday but they did not care for their customers whatsoever.

When we left, I saw other people leaving too. Their beach was getting empty because all the groups were leaving!! No one would pay this much to stay crowded under one little umbrella.

I hope by next year, when I will search for this location to see CLOSED PERMANENTLY on the map. As it...
