HORRIBLE SERVICE, MISLEADING RESERVATION & COMPLETE DISRESPECT – AVOID ELEPHANT BEACH BAR AT ALL COSTS! I made a reservation for 6 people at Elephant Beach Bar, and I VERY clearly stated that we needed 6 sunbeds and 3 umbrellas. I even asked what time we should arrive for the reservation and they told me: “Come at 10:00 AM.” What actually happened? We arrived promptly at 10:00 AM, only to find a sign saying they open at 10:30 AM. No staff, no shade, no information – just 6 of us standing in the blazing 40°C sun, waiting for 40 minutes like fools outside, just because we decided to be punctual and respectful of the reservation. When they finally opened and we walked in, we were told in the most rude, arrogant, and dismissive way that we would only get 3 sunbeds and 3 CUSHIONS. Yes, cushions on the sand, because “that’s their policy.” Excuse me? What policy is that exactly? Why were we told something completely different over the phone? Why even take reservations if you’re not going to honor them and don’t bother to inform the customer? And here comes the worst part: The price per person was €30 minimum consumption – regardless of whether you were on a sunbed or on a cushion. Yes, you read that right – €30 per person for sitting on a pillow in the sand. That is not just illogical – it’s insulting. The woman who greeted us was incredibly rude – no apology, no empathy, just pure attitude and zero professionalism. She argued with us and insisted that their working hours start at 10:30, even though their Google profile clearly states 10:00 AM. Check it for yourself – it’s still online. Absolutely no ownership of the mistake, no attempt to make it right, no decency whatsoever. NEVER visit Elephant Beach Bar. Don’t give them a single euro. The beach might look nice, but when you’re met with lies, disrespect, and arrogance – your whole experience...

One star only because the place is beautifully decorated and you can tell someone tried hard to make it happen. The rest is lost due to overly poor staff behavior. Let’s start casually; nobody answers the phone for reservations and when you get there without one they all but yell at you for it. We visited on a weekday, not a weekend or holiday, and mentioned to several people we tried calling for a whole day and everyone denied having ANY missed calls, which is practically impossible, and made a ton of silly excuses regarding the reservations and how far they span. But anyway. Arriving there, Konstantinos, the “host”, tried to bodyshame us cause if you’re not an insta-model, like him, you don’t deserve any curtesy in that place as a person or a customer apparently. He made us wait at the bar till almost 6pm but had no problem placing his crowd at the beach. Then the hostess/lady in charge came over and placed us in the last row after we had to complain again and again and brought up minimum consumption fee but said “I brought you down here at a very late hour so you don’t really have to hit that fee.” She didn’t notify the waiter about that and poor kid tried to ask for the extra money they planned to charge us anyway since we didn’t order a 3rd (!) round of drinks. When we told him about it, he called her over and she tried to intimidate us but didn’t get her way. It’s a shame, having a nice and beautiful location, having put in money and effort only for the staff members to ruin it all with their attitudes. We tried to be nice, take all that disrespect with grace, respectful of long working hours but nobody will ever go twice to a place where he’s being mistreated and have to pay a hefty fee on...

Review from my 4 full days in a row there. In general it was really good experience but: From the beginning you have the parking lot guy with hard to no English who tries to guide you where to park and shouts at you and gets mad at you if you don't do exactly as he says (even though he cannot fully explains what he wants) in a place for like 100+ cars and and plenty of field to choose from. I asked the staff, there's no system on the parking lot, he was there to "help" It starts the day bad when the help was indeed not needed. My resevation was mistaken twice because you have 2 types of lounges - first 4 rows have minimum spending of 30 eur per person, the rest - 20. Depends on who is the waiter on shift because once it changes they might not introduce themselves and my never come to your place and sit on side somewhere when they need to pass by and you have to shout or wait patiently in order to take whatever you would like to order. If you ask another waitress (I tried) she asks you who is your waitress and you should only order to her nobody else. Cleaning guys and reservation guys (not a badge or anything to know this from) are also not the guys you can order to. Aside from that, they keep the area really clean, staff is mostly friendly and professional, food is fresh, you have enough distance from other tourists compared to other beach bars and the lounges are really comfy.
