Piatsa — Restaurant in Kea Municipality

Unfortunately, I really can’t recommend this place. We went there specifically because of the great Google reviews, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. The food felt like it was all just thrown into a pot and served, oily and carelessly made. Even the Greek salad wasn’t good, and I never thought I’d say that in Greece.

We sat inside because it was too hot outside, but the indoor area is very small, super noisy, and the kitchen is open, which normally wouldn’t be a problem but you could literally see how unhygienic things were handled.

The feta with honey was awful, it tasted like supermarket toast cheese, deep-fried in a liter of oil. You couldn’t even taste the honey, only the grease. On top of that, there was a constant smell of cigarettes drifting in from outside, even though we were sitting indoors.

Overall, it was a total letdown, even for my boyfriend who is Greek. If you’re reading this and looking for a great restaurant instead, I highly recommend these two for the same or even better value: To Kampi (10/10 – the best!) and Nisos (also...

Very delicious local food with deep flavour! The food took long time to be ready but I guess that is the island mood! No one is in a hurry! Better to book in advance as there are limited tables available outside and the restaurant located at the entrance of the Ioulida. That's why is a very busy spot. Even they cannot speak English but they made it and they could take the order with small explanation. In overall advisable.

Πρώτη φορά στην Τζια. Είναι ένα όμορφο κομμάτι της πατρίδας μου και ως τέτοιο θα ήθελα να το διαφημίσω. Δυστυχώς όμως έζησα πολλές αρνητικές εμπειρίες μέσα σε μία μόνο μέρα. Κανένας σεβασμός στον πελάτη που κάνει ένα ολόκληρο ταξίδι. Μπορεί να έτυχε. Ίσως δεν ήταν η τυχερή μου μέρα.

Στο συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί κάθομαι με τη σύζυγο γύρω στις 5 το απόγευμα. Σχεδόν όλα τα τραπέζια είναι άδεια. Καθόμαστε σε ένα πολύ μικρό τραπέζι και λέμε στη σερβιτόρα ότι είμαστε για καφέ. Και εκείνη απαντάει ότι δεν σερβίρουν καφέ, γιατί έχει τελειώσει η ώρα του πρωινού!!! Σε ένα μαγαζί που γράφει ότι είναι καφέ-εστιατόριο δεν μπορείς να πιεις καφέ στις 5 το απόγευμα. Η σύζυγος είναι μισή Ελληνίδα και ξέρει από Ελλάδα. Φανταστείτε να ήταν ξένη τουρίστρια που έρχεται στη χώρα μας για πρώτη φορά. Ο ιδιοκτήτης μιας επιχείρησης είναι σαν να εκπροσωπεί τη χώρα μας εκείνη τη στιγμή.

Στη συνέχεια, η κοπελίτσα είπε ότι θα ρωτήσει και θα μας πει. Όταν βγήκε, εμείς είχαμε ήδη σηκωθεί. Σιγά να μην παρακαλέσω για έναν καφέ. Εννοείται ότι θα κάνω αναφορά στον συνήγορο του καταναλωτή. Όχι μόνο για το συγκεκριμένο αλλά και για άλλα απαράδεκτα που...
