TAVERN OF ANNA, PATINIOTIS ANTONIS & SIA EE — Restaurant in Kea Municipality

Do not walk near this tavern! I visited this tavern with friends, local people told us to go there but unfortunately, the tavern is just advertised everywhere without offering any good quality food. When we walked in the tavern we were waiting 5 minutes to sit, then it took them about 30 minutes for them to take the order, and when the food finally arrived, some dishes were as cold as a whitewalker besides the tavern being full of customers. I don't know why this happened, and I was willing to eat at this point but then the salad arrived containing human hair! We told the waiter and he replaced the salad with another containing less hair in it.

My friends ended up throwing up after a while, even Phil, who doesnt care about hair in his food. My super-power stomach didn't feel a thing though!

The taxi driver was the first to recommend this taverna,but we checked with some local ladies on the beach too, who all cited it.

Quick, friendly service - we had a huge Greek salad, some home-made fava (split pea dip) which was still warm and delicious "tomatokeftedes", a kind of fried tomato pattie, the best I've ever tasted. I also managed a grilled pork chop - I can never get them to taste like this in England...lemon and origani and of course the charcoal grill. The others had stuffed peppers and tomatoes, also delicious.

I know this taverna from 1993 and visited it many times. The view from the tavern is great. In my last visit the food was below average the Masters salad was mainly bread and no lettuce the lamb chops where big pieces of lamp and not ribs as it should be and the burger plate with 2 burgers was pleanty but poor in taste. French fries were poorly fried. Prices were high related to the average lamp chops 9.5 Euro burger plate 9 euro price Heineken 500ml 3.5 Euro tomato burgers (local dish) about 5 euro.
