Very good little greek restaurant with all gyros-souvlaki-tourist food but also with fine greek specialities _not_in_the_menu. Ask for what you can eat today and find out if yemista or goat meat with potatoes in red sauce or lamb in the owen are cooked and be prepared for an explosion of sublime taste in your mouth. The location is good, in the center but not exactly in the center, close to everything in Kymi but not in the crowded area. Within a little square, there is plenty of parking space available. Local people come here to eat, sometime in the evening might be necessary to make reservation before you come. The owner, Nikos, apparently knows everybody and takes care of them. Amazing place, we go there to eat each and every time we come close to Kymi. The owner, who is the main waiter, is a cool guy. He will take his time to ask about your trip, make you feel at ease and he'll crack jokes. The food is AMAZING with the "kapitsalio" plate being a must have. Everything we tasted was perfect, from fresh potatoes and cool tzatziki, to lamb meatballs with feta sauce. Prices were normal on the lower side compared to the quality of the food and the amazing service. The tables on the outside of the tavern are nice and even in the hottest weather you will feel the mountain breeze while admiring the sea view. We had just completed "checking in" to our overnight accommodation and had gone out in search of food and drink. After a somewhat strenuous climb, we reached the first place and immediately sat down.
