I recently visited a beach bar restaurant in Agios Nikitas, Lefkada, Greece, and unfortunately, my experience echoed the sentiments shared by many others. The location boasted a stunning beach view and even had a pool, which seemed promising. However, the overall experience left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the beautiful beach, but that excitement quickly faded once I ventured into the restaurant. The reviews I had read prior were indeed accurate. The service was slow and seemed indifferent, which was a letdown given the prime location. While the establishment had a pool and offered shower facilities, it seemed that their focus was misplaced as their primary draw was the beach view and not the quality of service or food.
I decided to try their food, despite the numerous warnings from other customers. Regrettably, their reputation for poor food quality held true. I ordered a pizza and calamari, both of which were clearly frozen and heavily greasy. It was a disappointing realization that the prices were quite high for the subpar quality they offered.
The prices were exorbitant for the quality of food and service provided. A simple sparkling water and a beer set me back an astonishing €10. It was disappointing to witness how the establishment seemed to exploit the tourist setting by charging unreasonably high prices for basic items.
The slow service was another notable issue. Many customers, including myself, were left waiting for extended periods for their orders to be prepared. Such inefficiencies were hard to overlook, especially when coupled with the subpar quality of the food.
In conclusion, I found this beach bar restaurant to be a letdown. While the view was undoubtedly breathtaking, it was clear that the focus had shifted from providing quality service and food to capitalizing on the picturesque setting.
The slow service, poor food quality, and exorbitant prices made the overall experience quite disappointing.
Considering the abundance of options in the area, I would recommend exploring other beach bar restaurants to truly enjoy a satisfying dining experience in Agios Nikitas, Lefkada, Greece.
Unfriendly Owner, manager, and staff. Toilets and showers are dirty. Very slow service.

Read moreThe place is nice as a whole, the area of the bar is big. I think the beach isn’t as nice as Kathisma but it’s still cool. There are some nice beds for 4 people which you can rent for the day, as well as the regular 2 sunbeds+umbrella. The menu and the service at the beach and at the restaurant are different. The beach has coffee, soft drinks, club sandwich, etc. (the waiter told us he could bring us something from the restaurant as well). The restaurant, however, doesn’t offer club sandwiches. When a member of our group tried to order that at the restaurant, one of the waitresses laughed at him and said that “this is a restaurant”, which was an odd way to say it, as many beach restaurants have it, and the café of the restaurant definitely had it, so it wasn’t weird to ask. We visited the restaurant a few times and it took forever for the waiters to take our order. Some ignored us on purpose, others just forgot to bring some items and/or the bill. Be prepared to wait for a long time to order, to be served, and to pay. The service on the beach is much better, the waiter was very nice, but there were only 1-2 guys for the beach area so sometimes we had to look for the waiter in order to ask for something. Overall, the beach was ok, the restaurant had the worst service I’ve seen in Lefkada and probably...
Read moreWe were two families having a vacation in Lefkada for two weeks, exploring the island and visiting all of the beaches across. Been in “Deck” on two occasions. The first time was good enough to visit this place again. Nice beach, good bar, showers (4 originally, but in time only one that works, but ok), etc.
However, on our second visit, we ran into a problem, a huge problem for us. For the first time in our lives, we were brutally discriminated by the staff, trying to make our second order of drinks. Those orders were not just bottles of water, to think that they were not interested, but cocktails and stuff.
Apparently, the guys on the beach were Albanians and when they realized that we were Serbs, they didn't want to serve us anymore. We were trying to make our order for almost two hours and when we saw that they normally served couple of visitors just in front of our sun-sets, than we realized what is really going on and left the place.
SO, if you are from Serbia, please, there is no need to go there. Find...
