KUKO's The Summer Bar — Restaurant in Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi Municipality

Nice surprise find on our road trip to Athens. We stopped outside gates to a beach area. We wanted to take a look and find a WC. The public area had seen better days. So we kept walking until we found this bar. I’m glad we did!

The hostess was very friendly and came to greet us immediately and walked us to the bar. Granted it was a slow Monday afternoon, but it’s nice anyways.

My husband asked for cold coffee. So the bar tender fixed us up a Freddo- espresso shot and foam with some sugar, over ice. I’m not a “straight espresso shot” kind of person but you must let the locals fix you what they’re good at. It was so tasty! We started ordering this drink from places when we got to Athens. And the hostess walked me over to where the WC is, bc the place is pretty big. Very sweet girl!

This venue carefully selects which clientele sit either on beach lounges or cabana. After being seated on a cabana by a friendly staff member, another lady came out to say it was a mistake and these are reserved for parties or groups of 7 or more. The cabana next to us wasn’t having a party and they were a group of 3. The lady offered no alternate solution just said the cabanas were for parties or for large groups where you’d be squashed like sardines. When we spoke to the “manager”, he showed zero interest in our issue and shrugged his shoulders. We went there few days ago on the Apon live party! Service unacceptable! 20 euro entrance for a live that lasted an hour 15 euro for a bad quality mixer and the bar woman refused to make me drinks as she said I only serve bottles!! ? Like what ????
