Fish Tavern "Gerasimos" — Restaurant in Maronia - Sapes Municipality

I've been a few times in the past...but with my last visit I know there won't be a next one. The portion size for both main courses and appetizers is disappointingly small for the price. The quality of the food is also different from previous times and again in a disappointing way.Also they don't bring menus to the customers and they fail to know the price of the products and they get disappointed later when they see the small portions for the money they will have to pay. I hope they change this habit.Only the staff improves the whole experience since they were very friendly people. But overall as an experience it was just bad. It's a shame for a restaurant that I had very high in my preferences.I recommend...

Taverna Gerasimos was one of the places where we went for a dinner with my wife while staying in the nearby hotel Angels Home. It is just some 6 min away. There was a very shiny waitress who spoke some Bulgarian language as well. The service was fast and in time. The food was also delicious. We liked very much the fried zucchini with a special sauce. Când vine vorba de taverne grecești, autenticitatea și prospețimea mâncării sunt esențiale. Taverna "Gerasimos" este situată într-o zonă pitorescă din Kavala, un oraș cu un bogat patrimoniu istoric și o atmosferă autentic grecească.

Decorul este simplu și autentic, cu elemente tradiționale care amintesc de vechile taverne grecești, iar atmosfera este primitoare și relaxantă. Personalul este extrem de prietenos și atent, reușind să creeze o experiență plăcută de la început până la sfârșit.

Mâncare: Meniul de la "Gerasimos" este axat pe preparate tradiționale grecești, cu un accent deosebit pe pește și fructe de mare, toate aduse proaspăt. Unul dintre cele mai apreciate preparate este peștele la grătar, un pește perfect gătit, cu carne suculentă și aromă subtilă de lămâie și ulei de măsline.

Nu poți rata nici calamarii prăjiți, fragezi și bine condimentați, sau caracatița la grătar, care are o textură perfectă și o aromă încântătoare. Pentru aperitive, platoul de meze este o alegere excelentă, cu taramosalata cremoasă, tzatziki răcoritor și brânză feta de calitate, toate servite cu pâine...
