⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Glorious Culinary Experience at Niagas Restaurant

During our recent holiday in Meganisi, my family and I enjoyed several lunches at Niagas Restaurant in Vathy, and it was nothing short of spectacular. This family-run gem offered a delightful selection of mageirefta dishes, each prepared to perfection. We were particularly impressed with their moussaka, gemista, and pastitsio—all incredibly flavorful and authentically Greek. The quality and taste of the food truly stood out.

The service was excellent, with the friendly and attentive staff making us feel right at home. The restaurant also boasts a lovely view, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Prices were very reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the quality of the meals. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy traditional Greek cuisine. Stay away. You can eat much better elsewere and for the half of the price. The waiter while putting the receipt on the table said you can pay it easily and left, his attitude was horrible. The portion of the Briam (vegetables in tomato sauce) was the half he said. On the receipt is fully charged. Everything ordered was in the cheap category however tey managed to inflate the bill as much as they could. They even charged the watermelon which is always in greek culture selved for free. Disappointed having read the reviews we thought this taverna was going to be great instead it was average and jammed full of scruffy yachting ferternity snobs so the view was spoilt by vast numbers of yachts mored. The food was average nothing compared to other taverns the squid we had was not cleaned out properly and was over cooked so it was like rubber. We were adviced hake over the bream and this was no where near as good as bream. Not as good as six other restaurants or taverns...
