This place is very special to me. My husband came here almost 20 years ago with his parents and they all were impressed by the quality of food and service. Three years ago my husband still remembered the place and took me here to let me taste it. The food was amazing and the service as well! I was really impressed by my dinner, everything was perfect. (On the same night he asked me to marry him under the stars of Meteora ♥️). And some days ago we came back here from Italy to live the experience again. And again the food was incredible! EXCELLENT! The best restaurant in Meteora area. You have to drive 15vmin from Meteora, but absolutely it worths. The food ia homemade, everything freshly cooked in the moment. The product quality is amazing! I tried the best Greek salad: the vegetables are grown by the owners so the flavour was great! The waiter was very nice and helpful all the time. They speak very good English too! And the place is also excellent, it is located in a quiet and wonderful mountain village (even higher than Meteora mountains!) with amazing views, but the best is the peaceful...you did not listen anything there..just nature and relax. This is a small most likely family owned and operated taverna, away from the main busy turist places and it holds that feeling as soon as you step in as most ppl there are locals. There was only 1 person there doing everything from what we niticed-the owner maybe?(an older lady) and even though the waiting for some of the dishes was a bit higher than on other places, everything was good. She does not speak english very well but you will manage :) Prices are lower than in a lot of the other popular reataurants/tavernas and you CAN pay with Card which was a big plus.
