Batrachos — Restaurant in Metsovo Municipality

We ordered two dishes of pork, one dish of chicken, and one dish of kodosouvli. Unfortunately the chicken was raw (dangerous), and the kodosouvli was overcooked. Additionally, there was a guy sitting with the manager who was yelling loudly and using offensive language, which was quite uncomfortable, cursing so much and loudly in a place that people pay money to relax and eat is not acceptable. It's a shame because the place is really beautiful, but now I understand why it was empty while other restaurants in the village were full. Also they didn’t gave us a menu, I asked and they said that they don’t have any so we had to remember every single dish that they told us they offer!

This is a magnificent view restaurant overlooking Metsovo via a nice terace with a fireplace area. Fantastic meat, "provio" lamp chops which they will make you a fan, even of you aren't. You will be delighted from their taste.

The feta cheese is one of a kind, it is produced solely from the owners and you can tell the difference.

French fries are freshly peeled and cooked so no plastic taste here .

The restaurant being at Anilio, is just a 2 minutes detour from the highway, and it is really worth the stop over.

The owners are so friendly, that I have to mention that, since it is not always the case in the area.

We stopped in the small village of Anilio on our way through Metsovo . So glad we did because we came across this very cozy and warm taverna across from the parking lot

We were early for lunch and the owners greeted us . Fireplace was already lit since it was a cold day in the mountains

Ordered a politiki salad with a great balance of vinegar , galotyri local cheese with pieces of feta : delicious , a sausage xoriatiko grilled and pork Kontosouvli . Both mains came with hand made potatoes . Everything was delicious
