!! DO NOT EAT HERE/DO NOT WORK HERE !! THIS WOMAN IS A LIAR AND A CHEAT I came to the beach as a tourist, and went to eat at the restaurant with my husband. I speak Greek and English, so we started talking with Anna. Soon she started begging me to work for her on the weekend, "I have no waitress, my children won't even come to help me, my feet hurt" etc. etc. Clearly I could see this was a desperate and unhappy woman. As I had many days still to enjoy the beach, I agreed to work for her. In 2 days I worked 23 hours, and she didn't even pay me €1!! I started talking to the locals and learned that she has done this many times! She finds a waiter/waitress and then makes up some story as to why she can't pay them. She pretends to be generous and kind, but it is all an act. While I was working, she gave a table some "free" raki, then when she totalled the bill to €27, she told me to charge them €30. There are no fixed prices for her food; she looks at the table and if she thinks they have money, she charges more, if she thinks you might come back again, she charges less. I am sad for her misery, but even more sad for the people she continues to take advantage of, don't fall...

We spent 6 days camping in the area with friends and this taverna was like a small treasure! "Kiria Anna" is a kind woman who has provided us with all that we needed for a pleasant stay: nice cretan breakfast, amazing & DELICIOUS cooked plates. The prices are ok and the quality of the food really good. Also a place for you to charge your phone and make a proper shower (even if you are not a customer you may use it, but first ask!!!) She doesn't speak Greek, but you will definitely find a way to communicate!!! When you are in the area you should definitely make a stop in...
