Windy Place — Restaurant in Municipality of Amari

We want to thank Dina for her hospitality during our recent stay in Fourfouras. My husband and I spent four nights at Windy Place and found the room comfortable, spotlessly clean, quaint, and felt genuinely welcomed. Our room opened onto a shared enclosed patio perfect for our dogs. We also enjoyed Dina’s food at her nearby taverna. Very friendly host! Dinner delicious. Very nice place to eat. End of oct was only for eating. Guests told me to stay for the night is homely and for good value. 200m uphill a fantastic bakery but not cheap; locals avoid it -maybe too hip? So for Windy Place all the good and: stay longer! Would come back w/my racing bike......fantastic landscape and ups and downs the road w/up to, lets say, 4-8% hills .........btw: peak of Psiloritis the highest mountain of Crete is 2-3 walking hours away. Well located to explore the moutains around. The owners are nice and give good advice about the walks to do nearby. The flat was very spacious with a kitchen/hobs and fridge.
