We went there on Aug. 14th, on the eve of Holy Mary day. A dancing event had been organized (like every year) a few meters down the small street from the restaurant. The village was crammed with people trying desperately to find a place to sit down and have dinner. We were among the chosen ones and found the last table for two. As for the food …we tried the traditional island goat…cooked 8 hours in the oven to perfection. We also had the Sousoutzakia (home made meatballs) absolutely perfect !. We wish we could have tried some of the other specialties but there is just so much you an eat. Special credit to the family who runs this business with an outstanding sense of hospitality, politeness and kindness. Next time …we’ll try to book a table ahead of a big event...

The quality of food is far beyond all else we were able to find on the island. Everything is homemade and by a compassionate, friendly and talented chef. Homemade meaning that each loaf of bread, dish, side-dish, dressing - you name it - is made freshly on the day.
