I normally don't review restaurants, but this taverna really deserves an exception. It's not immediate to get to it, since it's in the middle of a small village with steep, narrow roads (parking here may be an issue), but this is also probably the reason why the Cretan experience here is still so authentic and rewarding. The food is obviously marvelous, and the menu relies on quality and freshness of ingredients more than on the number of preparations, as any reasonable host should do.
