NOVEL ALL DAY - RESTO — Restaurant in Municipality of Argos and Mykines

I visited this place twice and the experience was so drastically different that I have to leave a negative review. The first time I visited (28.12 in the afternoon) I was surprised by amazing quality of food and service. Every dish that we ordered was incredible. We returned to the restaurant two days later and the experience was opposite. Firstly, we ordered some bread as the previous time it was delicious (it was fresh, grilled and buttered). This time however, it was cold (nearly stale) and very thinly cut. Then, for the mains, we had to wait more than 40 minutes, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. When the food arrived, it was already cold, so I don’t know why we had to wait so much for it. Finally, after the meal, the waitress didn’t bring us a free dessert, even though it was served to us during our previous visit. Overall, I am disappointed with such drop of quality. This restaurant could be amazing if the level of service and food...

Zero stars for the staff: Unfriendly, we had to wait for a long time until even being served (there were no new people during this time).

Very un-Greek-ish: Water is charged (0.5l for 0.50) - which we have only experienced in very touristic areas or high-quality restaurants (which this one clearly isn't).

One star: The food was okayish, however not worth the wait and...

I've visit Novel 2-3 times and I have to say that its a true gem 💎 not only for Nea Kios but also for the County of Argolida. Here you can enjoy excellent cocktails, high quality coffee, and a Mediterranean cuisine form a top chef!!! The stuff is very polite and in high serve standards. Stay tuned...
