We stopped by Barista Street Cafe for breakfast and had a great meal overall. The place has the relaxed vibe of a beach bar, though it's set along a busy street rather than by the sea—so be prepared for a bit of traffic noise.

There’s no paper menu, but the lovely waitress took the time to explain all the options to us, which was much appreciated. The omelette was fantastic—fluffy, flavorful, and filling. However, portion sizes weren’t very consistent: the poached eggs, priced the same, were noticeably smaller.

The place has a pleasant, dynamic, contemporary vibe. It's air conditioned, and nicely furnished. The food and service were average: it took them 30 minutes to prepare a burger and a Buddha bowl. The chicken tasted as if it had been cooked in rancid oil, otherwise both of the dishes were okay. Don't expect anything special. The prices, however, are very reasonable.
