I was excited to try this place based on the photos, but left feeling pretty bummed out. The food looked nothing like the menu pictures and tasted bland for 20 euros, honestly reminded me of cheap student meals.
Service was rough too. It really affected my travel on that day. Waited 30+ minutes for our food, and the old lady seemed annoyed with customers the whole time. She kept complaining about cash vs card payments, then would mutter things in Greek after speaking to us in English, which felt pretty unwelcoming as tourists.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but I'm genuinely wondering if some of the 5-star reviews are from friends of the owner. The experience just doesn't match what others are describing.

We walked two minutes down the same road to discover this amazing ‘home made disch only’ - ‘Ftelias taverna’.
The woman was lovely (the kindest citizen of Corfu). She only serves meals that she made herself.
We’ve tried the Stifado, the Gyros, the Baklava, the orange pie, the greek coffee, tc and we adored it. Full of taste, authentic and with a charming vue on local life.
