The host is very pleasant. All dishes are prepared by his family freshly in the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable, and this for sure wasn't our last visit at Stavros. If you are looking for plant based/vegan options go for the grilled peppers and eggplant/aubergine salad. Also, don't be too harsh on Stavros - even when the restaurant is almost empty, you can tell from his hurried pace and the fact that he always finds small things to do to optimize the flow of his restaurants operations that he is always looking to ensure that his customers are happy and served immediately. Very happy with this warm and welcome experience, and from what we could tell the locals too like to grab a bite at his place regularly. I had a great time at Stavros! The staff was really friendly and the food was great. I had the tzatziki with bread and it tastes really good. The olive oil that's free to use on the table was amazing and an addition to the already really great tzatziki. I had two "hors d'oeuvres" for a meal as I am vegetarian and they offered some great dishes in that section. The cheese croquettes and the fried mushroom were really tasty. I did not expect a plate full of oyster mushrooms so I was pleasantly surprised. My evening here ended with a few glasses of really good wine, accompanied by traditional Greek music. Durante la nostra vacanza a Corfù, abbiamo scoperto per caso un vero gioiello nascosto nell’entroterra, sulla strada per Paleokastritsa, a Temploni: Stavros Traditional Grill House. È stato amore a prima vista, o meglio, a primo assaggio!

All’arrivo, siamo stati accolti con un caloroso sorriso e un’atmosfera accogliente, tipica delle taverne greche a conduzione familiare. Abbiamo iniziato con una feta cotta al forno con pomodori e della pita, ma il vero tocco di classe è stato il piatto di “benvenuto” offertoci dal gestore: una selezione di salumi, formaggi tipici e altri deliziosi antipasti. Un modo meraviglioso per iniziare la nostra esperienza culinaria!

Abbiamo poi ordinato una grigliata mista per tre persone, con souvlaki, salsicce, costolette d’agnello e pancetta di maiale. Che dire, la carne era semplicemente spettacolare! Marinata alla perfezione e cotta alla griglia, l’aroma invitante pervadeva l’aria circostante, invogliando chiunque passasse di lì a fermarsi. È stata senza dubbio una delle migliori grigliate che abbiamo mai assaggiato.

Ma non è tutto: dopo una piacevole conversazione con il gestore, ci sono stati offerti tre dolci tipici greci, tra cui un delizioso baklava. Per completare questa magnifica esperienza, ci hanno servito anche una bevanda tipica corfiota a base di zenzero e limone, fresca e dissetante. Un finale dolce e rinfrescante per una cena che non dimenticheremo facilmente.

Inoltre, il prezzo è assolutamente corretto e, rispetto ai ristoranti di Corfù Town, è anche più economico. Un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

In conclusione, Stavros Traditional Grill House non è solo un ristorante, ma una vera e propria esperienza di ospitalità autentica e calorosa. Siamo felici di aver scoperto questo posto e torneremo sicuramente. Consigliamo a tutti di fermarsi qui, assaporare la tranquillità della zona e gustare l’eccellente cucina locale.
