Googled for Mexican in Athens and we narrow down to El Taco Goldeno. If only we had known that it was above average expensive, we would have changed to a different restaurant. But here we are with about 20€ each of us in our pockets max to spend with and we open the menus. There was no cheap option. I've never imagined I would choose a dish that costs 23€ as best VFM which we split in half. Plus we got charged, if I remember correctly, 3-4€ for water...

Pros: Great Mexican food nonetheless with ok amounts of food/portions and a cool happy atmosphere, as well as quick service. Outdoors with heater so we were warm all the time and it was winter.

Cons: Expensive for those who can't get a full belly easily with absurd extra unnecessary charges.

Overall not a bad choice but it is important to know where you are going beforehand. Great for eating out once in a while with colleagues or friends etc. but probably not best for families or for those who are...

Το μαγαζί ήταν γεμάτο ωστόσο όταν έχεις κάνει κράτηση και έχεις ήδη συνεννοηθεί τηλεφωνικώς για τα πιάτα επειδή θα είστε αρκετά άτομα, οφείλεις να εξυπηρετήσεις και ανάλογα… Τηλεφωνική συνεννόηση για τραπέζι 8 ατόμων ΜΕΣΑ στο μαγαζί, την οποία φυσικά και τόνισα. Αφιξη στο μαγαζί 10 παρα δεκα το βράδυ και το τραπέζι μας ήταν κάπου έξω στην αυλή δίπλα από ένα τραπέζι του προσωπικού με όλα τα πιάτα που άφηναν από τα τραπέζια των αλλων…11 παρα έρχεται μια κυρία από το προσωπικό αφού είχαμε ζητήσει επανειλημμένα να «παραγγείλουμε»- «υπενθυμίσουμε τι θα θέλαμε» 5-6 φορές. Η πρώτη κυρία μας λέει «ααα δεν ξέρω τι έχετε συνεννοηθεί», μετά από 15 λεπτά έρχεται άλλο άτομο από το προσωπικό και μας λέει «μήπως μιλήσατε στο τηλέφωνο με κάποιον άλλον; Δεν ξέρω τι να σας πω» (η ώρα 23:20). Αφού έχουμε παρακαλέσει εκατό φορές για τις μαργαρίτες και αφού έχουμε σηκωθεί για να τις ζητήσουμε από το πάσο που είναι το ταμείο 3 φορές, μας τις φέρνουν (23:30). Περνάει άλλο άτομο από το προσωπικό και καθώς πλησιάζει ακούμε την φράση «Ωχ βρε τα κορίτσια τα έχουμε ξεχάσει εδώ χαχαχα» την οποία οικειότητα δεν δώσαμε ποτέ και όντας απογοητευμένες από την όλη εξυπηρέτηση δεν θεωρήσαμε καθόλου σωστή συμπεριφορά!!! Σηκωνόμαστε 4η φορά, η ώρα 12 παρα τέταρτο για να ρωτήσουμε πραγματικά απογοητευμένες αν πρόκειται να μας φέρουν τα πιάτα ή να φύγουμε καθώς είχαμε κλείσει 1μιση ώρα στο μαγαζί χωρίς ΚΑΜΙΑ ΕΞΥΠΗΡΕΤΗΣΗ! Μας λένε πως σε 5-10 λεπτά θα μας τα φερουν. 12 και 20 έχοντας κλείσει 2μιση ώρες σχεδόν μας φέρνουν το φαγητό και με ειρωνία ακούμε παλι ένα σχόλιο «Άντε τελικά θα φάτε από ότι φαίνεται». Πραγματική τραγική εξυπηρέτηση στα όρια του αστείου, καθόλου επαγγελματίες, το φαγητό μέτριο και ακόμα χειρότερη η συμπεριφορά!!! Δεν θα πήγαινα ξανά και δεν θα το πρότεινα το μαγαζί αυτό σε κανέναν καθώς σε όποιον έχω αναφέρει την ιστορία μου λένε «Για το ελ τακο λες στην Αγία Παρασκευή;», που αποδεικνύει πως δεν ήμασταν το μόνο τραπέζι που δεν έχει...
