Enasma cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

The place is next to the lake. It is really cool in the summer due to the trees and bushes in the garden. The place is full of ducks that will come to your table and try to find out if there is anything edible for them. If you are afraid of the ducks the waiters will take them away for you. You can also see the lake. The place also has tables inside for when the weather is bad and also has a parking lot. It is really easy to find it with the car or bike. Coffee, food and drinks are available at all times of the day. I have visited the place two times in the last year and the first time i nearly spent the whole day there. They also offer you a small glass/shot of sweet gely pudding...

We were shocked and will never visit this location again. This was the first location that did not let us into the warm area with our 3 kilo (!) dog in a bag (8 degrees outside temperature).

We went out to eat almost every day, all over Crete and in all categories (from simple to star cuisine). We have never had any difficulties getting a seat with our miniature dog, as we transport him in a bag brought along especially for this purpose. We know the rule, but it has never been enforced in our case. For a location that is located in a walking area, very sad. A gorgeous little place on the lake with a beautiful bamboo garden surrounding a delightful water feature. The food was amazing, and the little welcome glass of cherry jelly was delicious. We found it almost completely on accident, but it's such a lovely little gem of a place, and should definitely be visited if you're in the area. We walked here from platanias (about 9.5km/2hrs through orange groves in the hills, though the walk itself was fairly flat), and it made the perfect lunch stop before...
